So the HATERS out there have been loving the fact that Caitlin Clark has needed some time to adjust to playing in the WNBA. She has had players lining up to “welcome her to the league,” sometimes with good old fashioned tough defense but other times with flat out cheap shots that come across as nothing more than jealous bush-league nonsense.

The big difference between CC and her Fever teammates with the exception Boston, is that CC wants everybody on the team to shine and distributes the ball all around accordingly, whereas everybody else wants to shine like Clark and hogs the ball for a hurried shot. The Clark strategy is so unexpected, that many of her superb passes are not caught, because her teammates are not used to one who distributes the ball unselfishly.
If Angel was correct about people wanting to see her, then why is it that the only times that teams are moving their games to larger arenas when they're going to be playing against the Fever? Since they're not doing it when they're going to be playing against Chicago, it seems foolish for Angel to think she's as much of a crowd-draw as Caitlin is. When numbers tell a different tale than the words that are coming out of someone's mouth, that's the perfect time to remember that numbers never lie.

The only place where fans want to see Reece is in Chicago. She is no big deal anywhere else. Not a big fan draw.
I think Angel is half right, people want to see the Angel - Clark match up, whoever is behind the marketing is doing it very well, the sport WNBA is doing well out of it.

Clark needs a new coach, probably a new GM and about 4-5 new teammates that want to play ball with her. If she keeps having to play with the likes of Wheeler, Mitchell, Smith then she won't likely do much better than right now. At leas scoring wise. Those players do not want CC to score, they want the glory for themselves. And Sides wants glory which she will never get. Not in Indiana, not anywhere. She is a lousy coach.

you mentioned Clark doesn't have International playing experience - this is incorrect. she played both U19 and U16 for USA in FIBA competition
Three championships, but it doesn't fit the narrative and thus is ignored or dismissed as young internationals aren't tough, but apparently adult ones are, despite USA winning 7 straight Olympic golds.
Clark's revenge tour? I only hope. Her next game is in Seattle (where I live) and I am hoping to see her lay it on the Storm. I really want to see that. But somehow I have my doubts. Don't forget, Sides will by coaching (or something like coaching) from the sidelines. We could see disaster for CC and the Fever. The Fever is a real mess right now. Teams that are a mess don't usually play real well.
Angels brand is not mass market and Caitland is mass market. Caitland can be sold to probably most of America because she has values that most people see as normal. Angel has a cool look for her culture and that may appeal to many, but not a mass market. I am not dissing Angel, but who relates to the fashion and eye lash extensions and fashion she does? I am guessing not as many as and therefore not a good brand for large companies trying to market their products.
Angel is capping. Everyone wants to see Caitlin. She's Chef Curry out their. If the league is smart, they change the league to suit her play like they did for MJ
The only difference is one was actually the best player in the league. The other is a media hype!

Arike turned down the us team spot, Caitlin has quite a bit of international experience. She won a gold medal in u20 team.

Comparing Clark and Reese talent is ridiculous. Like comparing a quarterback to a lineman. The team involvement is totally different.
Laettner was a better college basketball player than Shaq was. Without a doubt. They had one college player on the team and Laettner was the best one for that spot.
Also at that point John Stockton was a better point guard than Isaiah Thomas specifically on the defensive side and was the right pick for the team. And Michael not liking Isiah helped.
I am also watching all UA-cam posts about Caitlin Clark❤. Caitlin is one good influence that makes me think good and happy❤.

Do you really wonder why AR team has put a limit on her press time? How many times can you tell people how great you are?
It’s of Rotax Engines. They manufacture aircraft engines as well and there is probably some carry over to the SpYder from the aircraft side of the engine engineering.
I also suspect since the engine oil is shared by the transmission then it’s probably related to letting the vehicle sit in neutral to balance the two sides.

None of them are rookies. Angel has a chance to go into the top 10 in the WNBA in efficiency rating on Thursday 6/27 when she goes against the Las Vegas Aces and the person occupying the number 10 slot (Jackie Young) over her by a tenth of a point.

She is better than every single guard on the Olympic team, and her numbers are even better than some of the post players who are standing right under the basket, making their shots.
