I wish we got an actual buff instead of QoL changes, but I'll take anything that's not a nerf!
Hi athyris! Arent the qol. kinda a buff though especially cause you dont need to swing inbetween combos for the dmge buff anymore?
@@rammanjames sure, you could argue it's a damage buff but call it what it is. It's a QOL change haha.
Mained Aran since it came out in 2009 (only level 231 because I took a lot of breaks). Love the class and I especially love the minimal keyboard requirement. The new animations for beyond blade in New Age have me hype enough. Wish the cutscene attack was a little cooler tho (pun intended)
Hmm what's stronger/easier to gear for bossing Aran or Mihile?
What hyper skills would you recommend upgrading for the reboot/new age Aran? I'm lvl 180 and only put my skill points into "Beyond-er Blade" and "Beyond Blade Barrage." The other options don't really seem like they help all that much, I would get "Piercing Beyond Blade" but I need to be lvl 190 for it.
Don't need combo input anymore when I can just buffs.

What's better between Swing - Boss Rush or Rebounding Swing hyper skills?
Don't put anything into Smash Swing. It's not a skill we use enough. You'd rather put points into all of Beyond Blade's skills, Surging Adrenaline and Merciless Hunt.

Hello, check with the 2nd Trinode, the Smash Swing is still maintained, or can I replace it with Storm of Fire due to the Changes in Savior
Hi, I get Swing - Reinforce Afterimage (Increases damage inflicted by the afterimage that Smash/Aero Swing creates when followed by other attack skills)

I know the fd buff from swing studies was dispersed elsewhere, but for the aftermirage, dont you still need to use smash swing? Or is it even worth it?

Been an aran since 2009 and just came back. Is final blow needed ever? I'm confused on when to use it or if it's worth even having a hotkey since I can use the combo command
I have an Aran guide on my channel that should answer most of your questions. But tldw, you should not hotkey Final Blow or most of Aran's skills really.
is it neccessary to use combo with arrows keys n all that to play aran?
I want to give it a try but really can't be bothered with trying to memorize combo moves
You absolutely should for Final Toss since the up jump sucks if used with hotkeys. Hunter's Prey currently HAS to be activated with the command keys, but it will be hotkeyable in the near future. Keep in mind that you lose damage when you hotkey stuff vs using the command keys, but if you're okay with that then hotkey away!

I'm not sure what you mean by basic combo :o but definitely still use the command keys to trigger your skills for the extra damage and effect

@athyris, hello, i always wanted to main an aran but due to the keyboard smashing, it wasn't appealing. after these changes with less keyboard smashing, am i still required to use the commands to be viable with aran? or can i play aran without relying on the commands? ty in adv.
Using commands will always be preferable on Aran. But if you are okay with a damage reduction then you can skip the commands.
At the moment, Hunter's Prey can only be activated via command keys but that will change in a couple months. Also you will want to share use final toss (your up jump) with command keys for more height.
