@DIY Gene It is great so far :) I have been swamped with work/orders lately (3 months) so it has been hard to fit in the extra/fun projects like videos and tool restos, but I am getting caught up and have been working on a few new things recently. hint..... _flip top section for a tool_ :) :) with videos coming soon :)
Once again, you make it look so easy. Maybe you could do a video for putting a new ragtop on my old Nissan 350Z? I've ordered the top, but feeling a little uneasy about the project. Keep up the great work!
I had one of these on my last TJ. Two thoughts ... don't get the back window. They leak at the upper corners and basically don 't do much for you except to hold in heat and moisture. And secondly, how did it do in the rain? I tended to have a puddle form, with the weight of Florida rain storms creating a pool. I eventually created a vertical bar with a large 'T' on top to make it peak a bit. (I also had no back seat in mine, they're pretty worthless anyway. Oh, and if you swap out the shorties top tonneau for a longer one .. no worries at all! Very jealous of your YJ. I've beeb Jeep-free for almost two years now, and that's way too long! LOL!
That is so good to know, because I was thinking about ordering a back window. I love my old jeep. It just fits me. I can’t believe my son won’t learn to drive a stick. I don’t think I would ever see it again.
Great addition to your Jeep. That looks like it will be a real benefit for utility and also appearance.
Hope you are having a great week!
Kevin
Thanks Kevin! Hows the Makin' Sawdust channel coming?

Cool upgrade, do you have anymore mods planned for your jeep?
Cool Jeep! I love my 2017 JK 4 Door Soft Top.
Erik Vinson , I bet that 2017 Jeep is sweet.

Im looking for something similar but in hard format.
Nice one Gene
Do you have to have the soft top frame on there.
Yes the frame is the factory original. The new soft top fits it. Thanks for watching.
