Yep, a tough day at the "office" but you did stick to it and got round a tough back nine. Totally loved seeing that eagle putt drop after that amazing drive! Cheers
Great to see you've got some help with filming. Must be so hard to concentrate on playing golf and positioning cameras on your own. Love your attitude on these vlogs.
Great round enjoyed the down then up come back. Would think if you have a camera person you would have them down on the greens in par 3's or driving par 4's to get those close action shots. ATB.
Stats show that the closer to the green the better the scores. Once the driver came out you scored way better on the narrower and harder side. Great eagle !
Stats are never black and white like that tough. 100 from the green and down the middle will yield a better result than 70 from the green in the woods. That's all he meant and is probably the right strategy if you're not hitting your driver perfect. Especially on a narrow back 9.
What a drive and eagle, you’ll never forget that. Just couldn’t find a green early doors and that put a lot of pressure on your chipping which left you in 3 put range. With a better start I’m sure you would have made it a few under..
A good solid recovery after a bad start Andy. If I start bad I make the stupid mistake of trying the impossible to get the score back and of course it goes the opposite.!
Number 10s tee shot: follow your plan! Reason to hit the two iron is a couple holes prior you stated 9 out of 10 are always hit well. Statistically that means after 2 bad ones, the 3rd attempt should be spot on. The first bad hit one was the last of a 10-hole run in the second bad hit to iron was the first of a 10-hole run. Essentially you were due a good 2 iron.
@andycartergolf made that comment before seeing the next tee box, which is the proof. Lol Bet you are stupid dangerous properly concentrating. Do you use a yardage book in competition?
that's why I prefer to use a GPS app on my phone (SwingU app) over a watch: I get to see the overhead satellite imagery of the course and can then measure distances to any point for each hole so it makes it easier to plot your way on new courses.. You can even use it to review courses beforehand. I use a laser for approach play though because some places are too lazy to change flag colors depending on pin positions.
Well ground out Andy. You mentioned that it was unusual to have 2 par 3’s consecutively. My course has 3 all around the 200 yard mark, which does attract some complaints from visitors in matches.
How long does it take to play a round while filming? Do you go out early morning? Are you always letting people play through? Really like the channel , have been telling anybody that will listen
with two cameras it's always preferable to have the behind cam for the shot rather than one that lingers on your finish position.... we're dying to see the shot at that point so it's quite frustrating. Otherwise loved it, great round
andy love the content as always. off topic. did you see coscto has come out with drivers and irons (kirkland) the driver looks like a titliest driver. look foward to seeing ya do a review on them.
Why do all you GB pros repair pitch marks improperly. Push in from the outside, don't lift up. You break the roots when you lift up, and the grass dies and turns brown. I do enjoy your videos, Andy. By the way use your 56 instead of the 60.
You're struggling with talking and thinking... Why not try telling us what you're thinking? For each shot talk us through your shot plan distance, lie, wind, shape etc. It seems you only ever talk about the wind and slope impact on distance. What about wind impact on aim? What about lie impact on spin and shape? It may help your scores and will certainly help us.
Great fightback after the first few holes. Always take the positives. 👍

Looked a beautiful course and the greens appeared in great condition. What a tee shot on 15 👏
You're face after that drive and eagle, priceless!! Good recovery.
A great round Andy! That result showed great resilience and perseverance.
Great recovery Andy. Good to see you hung in there despite having a few bad holes.
Another great local course Andy. Great to see the south west courses being showcased in a brilliant way.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, so well hung in there. What an eagle that was!
Great to see you've got some help with filming. Must be so hard to concentrate on playing golf and positioning cameras on your own. Love your attitude on these vlogs.
Yes I have a lad who can occasionally come out to help which is good
Looks a great course for a mid handicapper. Great content as usual. Be great to see you down dorset, some great testing course here.
Great video Andy, love to see my home club be played on UA-cam
Great round enjoyed the down then up come back. Would think if you have a camera person you would have them down on the greens in par 3's or driving par 4's to get those close action shots. ATB.
Hitting the green was unexpected lol!

It was a tough start, but you never let that get to you. Good battle back, topped off with that lovely Eagle.
Yeah it was a gritty performance which im happy about
Great job Andy 👍 I’m still trying to break 80 and I shot 80 twice last week, so close 🤦♂️.
Great tee shot on the 15th 👍 enjoyable round to watch and always enjoy your commentary
Thanks Keith
Good work Carter! 👍 on the 10th in the trees I was seeing a punch cut at the furthest tree 🏌️♂️but that’s my style. Great vid! ⛳️
I wish id just hit an iron lol
Ohhhhh fancy pants has a cameraman haha 😂 good round carter.
Aaah what you’d give for a green side camera or drone footage of that drive for an eagle 🎉🎉 nice shot mate
Ahhh honestly that would have looked UNREAL
this is a really good series! enjoying a lot!!
What a drive and eagle, you’ll never forget that. Just couldn’t find a green early doors and that put a lot of pressure on your chipping which left you in 3 put range. With a better start I’m sure you would have made it a few under..
Yeah it was such a messy start
Great resilience to come back from that start 👍
Gotta give stockwood Vale a go. Its short but tricky and would love to see how you go about it
A good solid recovery after a bad start Andy. If I start bad I make the stupid mistake of trying the impossible to get the score back and of course it goes the opposite.!
Awesome play
Wel played!👍
Try Long Ashton, not far from B&C. Another couple you might like in Somerset are Long Sutton & Oake Manor.
Was so confused when you were playing the 5th , thought it was a tiny wedge into the green in the picture!
Haha i wish it was
Good vlog Andy, Bowood next near Chippenham?

Very true. Too impatient to force a score

Yeh thats a nightmare lol
@@andycartergolf they can be true card wreckers so I play them all as par 4’s. More relaxing! Esp for a 15 handicap

Thanks Peter, appreciate you spreading the word!
This round took 3hrs, the round at Moor Park took 2.5hrs thanks to a buggy!
So we’re pretty quick!
Love the content, but the best content is 18 hole stroke play matches! 9 holes on your channel & 9 on whoever your playing’s channel ! 👍
Looks like you are settling in into your new bag set up, any views?
Thanks, what did I win?

It sounds like you’re putting with an old top-flight or pinnacle Andy
Its a proV lol
Always the same the best shots are always the ones you don’t see the end result 😂
Well battled! Would’ve loved to see you fist pumping on the 18th
Eagle i would have!
andy love the content as always. off topic. did you see coscto has come out with drivers and irons (kirkland) the driver looks like a titliest driver. look foward to seeing ya do a review on them.
I havent seen them, im sure James Robinson will have them on soon
@@andycartergolf yes sir, I sent ya both a message on this. I know ya both do club reviews.

andy i am in bed with bad back but i feel a lot better after birdie on last hole well done rick in australia
Thanks Rick 🇦🇺
Doesn't work Andy playing on your own , reach out to Crossfield and Loxley , could be classic
Hmmmm not sure
Yesterday I was+11 on the front, +2 on the back. I play the most schizophrenic golf than anyone. 🤦
Hahaha that must have been a strong drink at the half way house
@@andycartergolf 🤣 actually it was an early morning round but I was tempted.
