It looks like you'd be able to lengthen the strap an additional 1/2" or so based on what I'm seeing in the video. If it still isn't long enough for your wrist size, you could remove the sliding keeper entirely and just use the fixed one. This lets you lengthen it even longer. It's not required to use both keepers, and it will still secure the strap tail nicely with just one keeper. Our strap is not designed for the tail of the strap to go through the back of the buckle, and I don't believe the Tudor strap is either (at least not the ones that I have handled).
i have just received my Chevron, and being quite happy with everything else have the same concerns as the video, my wrist being 6.75" the strap isn't long enough so my second keeper is just there floating unused
@@gtan I think you actually have the opposite concern as the video. If the strap were any longer, you'd have to shorten it even more, making the second keeper go further away.
@@CrownAndBuckle Guys, got your Chevron Harvest strap for my Damasko DA46 and can't be happier! I put my leather strap in the box and just love your product - no more sweaty spots under my straps. I wish you could make buckle and keepers in kinda sand-blasted finish to match Damasko's case, but still it is an outstanding product.
I own two Tudor BBs and the textile strap should never be passed through the buckle. They weren’t designed for that, they should pass through the keepers only. I own the 43mm bronze and the 41mm red bezel. The C&B Chevron does what its supposed to do as well, just like the Tudor straps. Also neither of my Tudor straps had sewn in springbars. Easily removed like on any other strap.
I have an oem bb58 strap and with there’s party straps I have the same issue. We are suppose to feed it through the Buckley again but with all third party straps I see that it’s almost impossible to get the through the hole. It is definitely a better fit with the final thread though.
Had the exact same issue so contacted the supplier who sent me some pics on how to adjust the strap correctly. Suggest doing this as it will then fit perfectly. If you want the pics send me your email.
What size is your wrist? We don't have plans to make a longer one, since they fit up to an 8-8.25" wrist, which covers about ~98-99% of the population.
@Crown & Buckle - C&B, you should do whatever you can and must to Ensure that the tail end of the strap can pass through Both the keepers, otherwise one just hanging there regardless of whatever reasoning you may have, it will still look odd and will not do.
I can confirm that these straps are just about perfectly adjustable and very well made. My wrist is 7.25 but even if it were any bigger, I could always remove one of the catchers. Zero problems. I cannot go back to standard Natos.
@@rockon609 Why doubt it? China is where these brands manufacture these straps in the first place. Even if it is a scam, you can dispute the order with aliexpress, but all my straps from there have been pretty good quality so I wouldn't know much about the success rate.
You're a true gentleman and very gracious with your review. C&B is missing the point being close minded and not making the chevron strap in a standard 275mm. Whoever wrote the "go to market" strategy for this product and standardized on a 255mm length needs to be fired. Length. Lame.
Hi Fernando. What makes 275mm a standard length? These are not NATO straps, and are not designed to be folded backwards into the keepers like 275mm NATO straps are. They were designed to fit a wide range of average wrist sizes, i.e. about 6.25" to 7.75" (give or take about 1/4" depending on the watch). They will fit 8"+ wrists as well, depending on the lug design and some other contributing factors. The vast majority of our customers fall in that "average" range. If we had made the straps longer to cater towards the few that have larger than 8" wrists (a single-digit percentage of our customers), then we would have compromised the fit for the majority. I apologize that we have so offended you. I am the owner and founder of the company, and I ultimately chose the length of the straps based on my ~10 years experience in the watch strap industry. I'll go fire myself now. ;)
@@CrownAndBuckle just offer a regular size and a large. People can choose and even shorten them to fit. I programmed HUDs (heads up displays) for helicopters in virtual worlds and have customers with poor eyesight or colorblind. I made them adjustable in size and color, so everyone can have what they need/want.
This has to be the WORST nato strap I have ever used. Took me 15+ minutes to figure out how to ajust this strap. Ended up taking it apart altogether and then I really was confused how to strap it back around the buckle. Absolute POS strap and I will never buy another one of these things. One of these is better off being in an escape room. Whoever puts it together first wins a prize. Not worth my time and frustration.
So sad to have read of your bad experience with the strap. They aren't NATO straps and as you saw, don't have to be taken apart to be adjusted. We include instructions with the straps, but we definitely need to make a video showing the process to make it easier for people. We do also sell a lot of regular NATO straps with no adjustment. Please feel to reach out to us if you have any other questions or issues with the strap.
As far as Nato Straps this is a super easy strap to put on and adjust. I'm unclear why it seems people are having issues with the length...I'm 7.5 inches and mine fits perfect. I love this strap on my Hamilton Khaki!

How is yours not long enough? I have a seven inch wrist too and I'm actually on the shortest hole. If I was smaller I'd be screwed.

The original TUdor strap is a nightmare to feed the strap through loop, just like this one.

Late to your video but a little advice......clean up the pet hair man. just doesnt looks good.

Lower quality imitations of our straps, yes. There are thousands of them out there.
Camera positioning is awful. Focus on the product, not your hands please. I couldn't continue watching.
