Before open the oil pan bolt you should first remove the oilfilter, open the filler pipe and keep it open. This ensure that more oil comes out from the engine.
Great simple video!! Nice and straightforward. You must be the cleanest mechanic in the world. That jumper is impeccable. Did you previously work in Formula 1 ? :0)
IMHO you should install the FUMOTO Engine Oil Drain Valve so there will be no mess of oil spraying on the underside of the car, no crush washer, and no chance of stripping the oil pan plug either.
Another great video! Curious if you ever use any of the engine flush products from Liqui-moly you offer prior to changing the oil and their various additives after you add the oil back into the engine? My e350 has 160k miles on it and was considering both the engine flush and the ceramtec products. Any thoughts ?
Use the liqui moly flush prior to your initial application of ceratec. The level of smoothness and quietness will be significantly Improved. I now use ceratec with every oil change and my engine is as smooth as glass in my E350 at 230K...
@@fcpeuro My son has a 2005 CLK 55 AMG convertible which has two drain plugs one in the front on the side and another one in the back. Both covers have to come off in order to get to them. I just installed the F106SX 14mm X 1.5 FUMOTO Engine Oil Drain Valves so their will be no mess of oil spraying everywhere on the under side of the vehicle no crush washers either, and no chance of stripping the oil pan plugs.

Great video, thank you!
On the 2001 clk 320 what about the oil cooler?
Can you tell me the thread size and length of the oil pan bolt on a MERCEDES CLK 55 2005 AMG?

Hi there. Why the black tube on the right between the battery and engine, minutes 6:35, not hook in? Thanks
Luu, not certain of what you you are referring to.
@@fcpeuro I think it's the right hand air filter snorkel. It's not connected
@@fcpeuro Yea hes referring to you not connecting the intake hose to the airbox body haha :)
@@aedwards4496 if you noticed at ua-cam.com/video/YUeCKZlU8f8/v-deo.html it was already disconnected to begin with
Good video.
Thanks!

Where can i buy
Easy
I got my oil changed and 15 mins later the front splash cover came.off on the freeway. Dont go to jiffy lube. They suck.
Would this also work for a clk55 amg? the engine cover looks different but also my mechanic uses a pump to syphon rather than draining it?
Hello David, your clk55 amg will be a similar process for the oil change. You can use a pump to siphon the oil out or drain it from the bottom.
The only thing is that the oil filter housing will look a bit different.
perfect, I appreciate your answer! :)
