Yes super pretty and the solitude is great!
my left ear really enjoyed this video!
The microphone I used in that video sucked I’m sorry I no longer use it.
Wow... what a video .. thanks for share dude... i can't wait ...
It will be exciting when you go out to catch these beauties.
Sweet, looks like you’ve been having a blast the last few months, and hanging down some good fish! Absolutely sweet!
Amazing looking fish. Awesome colors on them. Awesome catches AJ.
Thanks buddy! It’s a lot of fun! The fall colors all mix well with how vibrant the fish get!
Excellent work! Beautiful trip and amazing place that were still lucky enough to have. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
Thanks bud! I am pumped about tomorrow too!
So good on the smoker
Got about a handful ready to smoke Sunday!
Wow that's red big fish sir catching fish around there the water is clear
Beautiful gin clear stream makes the experience epic!
Awesome vid! Very excited to snag some salmon this Sunday in Colorado!
Go to the Granby canal! No need to snag them there. You can cast and jig and they’ll hit it. See this video of what I’m talking about. ua-cam.com/video/wDheisg6Fw4/v-deo.htmlsi=eU_Zt7icpHd3KCxT Last two weekends I’ve gone out they’ve been so aggressive that they chase and say! :)
@@MountainStateAngler I'll have to check out Granby! Thank you for the suggestion! I'm snagging only for food otherwise I would be using jigs and flys!
@@nathandesmond3641 yea the rivers are great for that as well! Good stuff! Hope you get a ton! My friend was out at the Granby canal yesterday and managed 8!
@@MountainStateAngler thank you! And that's awesome! I went pike fishing at spinney last weekend and I went with my friend to the dream stream to watch him fly fish and saw a my first glimpse of a Kokanee so Im super excited!
@@nathandesmond3641 how did you do with Pike? I normally fish for pike last days of October
Fkn beautiful fish bro!!👊🏽 🎣🎣
Thanks bud! Fist 👊🏼
Looks like an amazing place to fish. Very pretty fish. Good video!👍
Thanks brother!
Absolute gorgeous
Yes they are, I love low fall bring so much color in the nature.
Awesome Awesome Awesome. All glory to Jesus
Yes sir!
Really amazing content. Such a cool type of fishing on that small steam for those fish. They are absolutely beautiful. Really amazing video 👍👍
Wow thank you for your generous comment, truly makes me happy to read a positive comment like yours. Glad you enjoyed the show, I put a lot of work into this one besides just the fishing. :)
Nice catches 🙌🏾
Nice video! Just got into fly fishing myself. I am looking forward to the day I find a spot in CO to catch some salmon of my own!
Nice fish boys! I'm gonna hit the dream stream soon since it's the closest spot to me where they're at!
Where is this place at lol?..🤙🎣
Gimme 20 bucks and I'll tell ya! Was born near there.
Zippermouth creek.
@@fishwhistle9666 take a right around nunyabizness road and go for a country mountain mile and you're there!
Colorado...aka my back door
Clear creek res inlet river
Was hoping to get out and catch some Kokanee salmon, I know the best flight to catch them on but I didn't see a single one when I went two weeks ago. Also I was helping my buddy learn how to fish so I couldn't really concentrate on myself 🤣
Where are all the bears that are supposed to be eating those fish? Giant humpbacks on some of those!!
I saw so many eagles Paul, the bears I bet were being sneaky after I left. :D
Cool video. If you catch them when they are silver, they are delicious
Yes but their not as beautiful looking and big like these! It’s more about fishing for them and the fun fight. I let them go so they can die by nature or other wild life! The eagles and bears were staring at me!
I'm new to salmon fishing. Does the meat change flavor during the spawn? Also, is it possible to hook silver salmon from the shore before the spawn (without a boat)? How? Thanks
@@roxiecheney5746 the meat is still ok if you’re going to smoke it any other way it’s meh! And it is possible to catch somewhat silver at the start.
@@roxiecheney5746 There are places to catch them from shore. Here in Oregon you can target them from some bridges in reservoirs, but you could also try near the mouths of creeks and inlets. It is easier to catch them from a boat though. Once they come into the river to spawn, they are not very good table fare in my opinion.
@@MountainStateAngler I get it, the tug is the drug and they are pretty spectacular in their spawning colors.
Where is this at in colorado
What creek are you at? Or is it your secret spot?😁
Mntap skali sungai nya atau dana
Thank you!
Who ever said u needa go to the west coast to catch salmon
Exactly, their all over the Rockies, not the size of the west coast ones but their here. :D
Thanks for share is this western or east Colorado?
Western! Too warm for the east. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for tip! Keep up the good content!
Where is that? What streams? I Wana go fishing .
At 2:30. Did you say "BENDA'S gonna net em?"
Sorry I mumble sometimes it said “Ben’s going to net it.” The fish I had on.
@@MountainStateAngler It sounds like you are saying "Benda" - my last name. I have lots of family here in CO so it caught me off guard! Me and my brother are going to try to get some Kokanee this weekend. We don't fly fish though, we will be spin fishing. Think we still have a chance? We are headed out of the Springs area, never targeted Kokanee before, any tips? Locations? Thinking decently far downstream Gunnison since it is so late in the run.
@@christianb3053 yes head on over to Granby and use spinning gear! Throw pink, red or orange hair jigs, tubes or kastmasters if you can, watch this video you’ll get them for sure! ua-cam.com/video/wDheisg6Fw4/v-deo.html
@@MountainStateAngler Does it matter where about in Granby? I am looking at the Colorado River, Fraser River, and the reservoir. But most of the river looks to be private property from Google Maps.
@@christianb3053 the canal
did you harvest any?
None. I love the fight and the colors
When do they stop running?
Usually by the end of October but I’ve seen them go into end of November.
@@MountainStateAngler oh sweet, thanks you. That means I may catch one yet this year.
Is this Fishing or Lifting???
I don’t know what that means but here is a video where they are also chasing and willingly taking a hair jig, they do the same with spooks and flies ua-cam.com/video/niEvvM9MJzY/v-deo.htmlsi=jfe59J7yTbDOiVsj
Amazing video man! I live in the Durango area and I’m still waiting to find em. Do they run at later times in some places or do I need to go further up the creeks?
So they only run from late august to October in most bodies of water their in. You can get them year round deeper in lakes jigging pink, red or orange stuff.
Hardly any water
It’s low this year.. seems like it’s low everywhere this year
All the snow this year should help
I should have waited before commenting, me and you have a lot in common actually it seems like... I'll be a new sub (I rarely sub) but you know some of the same shit I know
