It's also a tribute to their 20 years of partnership on the ice. I'm gonna fucking cry, no lie, I will miss them when they retire after 2018.

I think them not dating each other helps them out honestly. It is an intense longing with almost insurmountable sexual tension between them that never gets any relief. It is part of the magic with them I think. Maybe once they finally retire they can be together.

An absolutely brilliant performance. I am mesmerized by their skills. And they are so beautiful together. She absolutely has the ultimate trust that he is going to be there for there every movement. I cannot imagine either of them living a day without the other in it. And he has such strength and warmth in how he handles her I cannot imagine her not yearning for his every touch. Just an amazing couple. They are so beautiful together. I sure hope that one day they will live their lives out together.

Not only is their skating mesmerizing, but they are such down to earth people. Not to mention how they are always there for each other and 20 years of partnership really show that. God they are perfect.
This is what can happen when you truly enjoy being around each other for 20+ years. You don't even have to say how you feel, even if its not platonic because you already know how you feel about each other. Regardless of what they do they have 2 silver medals, 3 gold medals and 3 world titles and have countless numbers of routines that make anyone want to dance. Thank you Tessa and Scott for this wildly amazing and unforgettably magical glide across the ice that you both have taken us as the viewing audience on since the beginning!

They were two perfect couple dancing to their own world. No words can express how I feel when I see them dancing. When they performed their faces radiates so much emotion and love. For me, they will remain as the best performers the ice skating world have seen and the champion among the champions. Watching from the Philippines.
This is literally their song. They should dance to this song for their Pyeongchang gala. And the red dress is gorgeous on Tessa.
I have never seen anyone like them. Ever. I think they will always be heroes to the Canadian people. Bringing the gold and the silver and performances that are more than amazing. Figure skaters in their quest for technical perfection, tend to appear rigid, and not very creative. These two changed all that and combined creativity, fluidity and technical perfection, each and every time.
How was this even possible my eyes are not worthy of watching this.
The great thing about Tessa and Scott is that they have such an amazing connection, that watching them skating feels like something so special!! I get to see them at SOI this year in Toronto. I'm so excited :)

I just discovered them about 2 wks ago and I just Love everything about them. I've always loved watching the Ice skating ori's,but I never enjoyed watching the Ice dancing couples until I watched Tessa & Scott. Now that's all I want to watch over & over. They're Amazing & are the Best Perfect Couple in professional Ice Skating!! Every program that they skate to is absolutely perfect & beautiful in every way!! I've been watching Professional ice skating for over 50 yrs & no one I've seen comes close to Tess & Scott!! I just Love watching them & I enjoy every minute of them.there's nothing missing from this beautiful, perfect couple!!

With that kind of talent & chemistry it would be very missed by their fans & they are still young(early 30’s come on). It would be a shame to let that talent go dormant. They have so much passion for their sport. I understand how demanding it can be on their bodies. It would be great if they decided to try for that 3rd gold. I enjoy them so much.

i know its not fair to deposit my happiness in someone else, but ice dance events are empty without them, there are great teams no doubt, they make me smile and dance, but no one has this soul, detail, friendship or consistence that Tessa and Scott had. i hope my heartbreak passes soon, so i can enjoy the competitions again, but damn, they retired in 2019, how long is gonna take me?

OMAGOSH!! These two were made for each other! Whenever I see them..the same thought comes to mind...what must it feel like for them right now...flying around so fast on that ice..everything around them whizzing past them like a blur..the ONLY thing in focus is each other's face..all they can really SEE is each other..they must feel like the only two people in the world & they are putting their life in each other's hands. That takes an immense amount of TRUST! It's so INTENSE!! I may be a bit melodramatic..but that is what I'm thinking when I watch these two..they hypnotize me👏🏻😍

Watching Tessa & Scott is mesmerizing. Their movements seem so effortless, yet the amount of work that goes into making that happen, I can't even imagine. The song they danced to was

So many people want to know if Tessa & Scott are a couple, but I think they have something that goes much deeper than that. I know this might sound trollish, but I'm serious, check out the Duschenay siblings from the 80's/90's (from Canada too, but skated for team France) both Virtue/Moir and Papadakis/Cizeron owe a great deal to them. ua-cam.com/video/coM4d1CQZfs/v-deo.html they were always too radical for the judges, way way way way ahead of their time. Stuff that Virtue/Moir needed as a foundation. In a way, to me, Virtue and Moir are "The Duschenays who were allowed to win."
