Consumer Awareness is an act of making sure the buyer or consumer is aware of the information about products, goods, services, and consumers rights. Consumer awareness is important so that buyer can take the right decision and make the right choice.
Yet another big message. It's not just about expiry date of the product with which we consumers have always been exploited. I can relate myself mentioning Consumer right(though I don't really know) last year in November as I made a heated argument with one big Marwari wholesale shop owner for a free 25g coffee(Continental) worth 90 rs. Unfortunately most of us ignore it since it's just worth some amount and reluctant about fighting for it. But we are actually giving our rights away for which we have taken advantage of. I hope all of us will start to value our consumer right.
Another great awareness video from you guys. I always check the manufacture and expiry dates of things before buying them. If it's expired goods, i inform the storekeeper. Consumers must be aware of our own rights and that consuming expired food items affect our health.
This is very true from my own perspective of experience. Im suffering from stomach pain for a week now after i drank an expired appy juice only to realised after i lve already consumed the product. Please beware.
Yesterday my mom bought Poha for breakfast sadly when I checked up the expiry date it was last year Nov 2020. Thanks for instilling us with such a great lesson. Love du
Just now I was done studying with the topic "Consumer awareness" And ya the consumer act was passed in 1986....The Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020 (“Rules”) were notified by the Government of India on 20.07.2020. The Rules are intended to complement the Consumer Protection Act, 2020 (“Act”) to by regulating all e-commerce activities and transactions. The Rules have sought to govern all such e-commerce activities by laying down duties and liabilities to be adhered by e-commerce entities, marketplace e-commerce entities, sellers on marketplace, and inventory e-commerce entities. The Act defines ‘e-commerce’ under Section 2(16), as “buying or selling of goods or services including digital products over digital or electronic network”. Scope of Rules The Rules apply to: All goods and services bought or sold over digital or electronic network including digital products; All models of e-commerce, including marketplace and inventory models of e- commerce; All e-commerce retails, including multi-channel single brand retailers and single brand retailers in single or multiple formats; and All forms of unfair trade practices across all models of e-commerce However, the Rules except activities carried out by a natural person in personal capacity not being part of any professional or commercial activity undertaken on a regular or systematic basis.
Once while travelling I argued with a shopkeeper in Silonijan for selling products more than the MRP. I told him about the consumer rights and asked him to take the exact MRP. He said the extra cost was on the pretext of keeping it in the fridge. Because of the argument, he had to give me by mrp but there are many commuters especially Nagas who take that road to travel back to villages and end up paying more to the shop keepers let alone the hotels that are prospering because of Nagaland passengers. So know your rights and educate others as well. Let us not be exploited often.
We had few meat masala's in our shop which was expired and i kept it aside , told my mom not to sell also....... and after around 2 months passed .. student Union came for checking I politely took the masalas out and gave them! It was the only expired goods which i refused to sell also! And we got fined 5k🤣🤣🤣🤣💔💔💔💔💔💔 Moral: dispose it before checking comes
Yes,! that's a good lesson from consumer awareness...in Class 10 my teacher has thought this lesson🤗 it a good thing to Know between consumer and shopkeepers.🙂
Manipur, fuel price illegally hiked by 50 paise/litre. Citizens strike and protest to curb corruption. Nagaland fuel price hiked for covid cess while the rest of the world sold fuel at lowest price in the century. Naga citizens, online war with each other but nothing happens. Moral: Neiphiu will always have the last laugh when it comes to citizens rights.
@Jack Daniels, don't blame the politicians, blame the citizens...and yes, that's both you and I. We all know what goes on during election time. We get what we deserve.
..This is it Peepz! We Naga people should check out the expiry items date, miscellaneous etc etc..b4 purchasing any items, eatable or non-eatable cuz its hazardous for our health so via the above video we need to listen & learn the messages they are clearly trying to guide & help our own Peoples thru realistic & humouristic means as it is only reflecting our current Nagaland scenario.Kuknalim!!!Good Job Dreams Unlimited & Keep it up & All the best for ur next video..Thank you👍✌🏻🤘🏻
fssai ..certification need to be implemented In Nagaland weather big or small establishment when it comes to food and beverages .. health is wealth.. kudos to DU for the awareness.
From padumpukhuri gate till airport, without entering the parking tax area = 150 to 250rupees depending on the passenger's appearance. If passenger is a gentle dude or a soft lady, 250 or even 300. If it's a rowdy looking tough guy or a Naga Karen, then 150 which is still a lot if you actually know the ratio of fuel consumption and fuel price.
Those who sell expired items are not earning money but inform of God and people they earn sin, just like drugs dealer, don't compels what they are selling, thank for the video
I wonder who are these people disliking. Maybe they are also Class 1 drop outs. Anyway, good one Dreams Unlimited. You guys never fail to bring out the laughing elements while bringing about the awareness needed to us viewers. 👍
Awesome.. yes 👍🏼👍🏼 and we must also fight for the Phone Network services cos we are the consumers, we recharged our phone but very poor network services specially in our State.
Would have been much better if you have shown the procedures on how to lodge complaint in the consumer protection court. Good job done anyway. Keep it up Dreamz Unlimited.
Just call 14404 that’s it Make the complaint if it’s small issue it would be resolved directly if not they will help you with consumer court where you can take the company to court and guess what you don’t have to pay a single rupee for all this Everything is free
