My hope is the same: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us, and to remember his holy covenant. That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of the adversary might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of my life.

Beautiful, I felt a great spirit. I´ve been studying the "Come Follow Me" manual with the New Testament. Zacharias and Joseph were strong men, the fathers of Jesus and John the Baptist. We usually don´t talk about these men in Church, but I could learn so much reading about them, their trials, faith and work. I also have difficulties to have children, so I kind of could understand better now the role of Zacharias, his feelings, his gratitude, his blessing. I´m thankful for these two great fathers, we have a lot to learn with them.
Whenever I read the account of Zacharia, I saw these as words on paper. While still beautiful, seeing this helps me to see that John was not only given a proper name as the Angel of God declaired, but as I listened to the Promises and Blessings, I realize this was a Beautiful Baby Blessing! ❤🕊

This is an amazing video seeing the joyous expression of the proud parents. When were these videos made? The actors have done an excellent job. Unlike other stories, where the mothers (e.g. Sarah, Rachel, Hannah) wanted a child/son, here it was Zechariah who badly wanted a son/child. Instead of being a possessive father, he agreed to having his first born and son being named John instead of Zechariah which is interesting. Although there was no one from their immediate family with the name John, I wonder if Elizabeth (a descendant of Aaron's daughters from the Levi Tribe) had any cousin brother or brother who helped her in her life, by that name.

Very powerful video. Interesting though, that Zacharias and Elisabeth seem to always be portrayed as people perhaps in their mid to late 60s or sometimes older. We learn in (Num. 4:3; 8:23-26), that the oldest a man could be to Perform ordinances such as burning of incense in the temple was by the age of 50. That would place Zacharias no older than fifty, as the Angel appeared to him while he was fulfilling his Priesthood duty of burning incense in the Temple of the Lord. Elisabeth would not have been older than Zacharias so she would have been in her mid to late 40s. Please correct me if I'm wrong though. I always love these videos. Thank you
