@siikedonnelly I definitely want to see anti venom and maybe space knight venom I have a feeling they're gonna do a carnage color skin before anything else
The bio was on the Venom Site's reddit page and it's rather faithful to 616 albeit focused on Knull, which is why one of their team up partners is with Spidey instead of having a special move against him as some people expected. Its not my usual cup of tea but if I get the chance I do want to try it out. The only issue with trying to play it early apparently is one of the stipulations of the contract is that you can't say anything negative about the game publicly. Which is a red flag.
Oh awesome on the info about the Bio. Cool! As for the contract, it has since been updated to where you can share any and all feedback. But yeah, big red flag for sure, but luckily one that got corrected and hopefully isn't pulled again. Usually marketing or PR teams type those up, so there's a chance someone in that world got fired over that one.
I'm a simple man. I see Siike, I upvote. I'm now curious to hear your thoughts on Insomniac Venom, since he can be a bit controversial. I liked the design of Venom too, and gameplay...but I absolutely detested the Scarlet Spider costume. And if I'm being honest, I'm tired of seeing the Scarlet Spiders being added in games as *only* costumes. To some extent I can get that mentality for Ben, but Kaine? This is the rougher spider-character who once had stingers and the ability to shift into a werespider form? He can and should be allowed to contribute from a gameplay standpoint beyond just visuals.
I agree with you on the Ben or Kaine thing, but in a game like this that isn't steeped in telling a full narrative, I'm okay with just visuals. In an Insomniac type game, or Midnight Sons, I'd prefer the uniqueness of the character also on display as you said. So I get a bit more upset when it's just a suit in those games vs something like this or Fortnite or something. Also, thanks for the upvote, view, and comment. I posted a full playthrough on this channel of Insomniacs SM 2 and I also did like a 40 minute review and share all my thoughts there. Needless to say, I didn't like it, but not just as a Venom fan, but also a Harry fan.
