I like this interviewer. She asked the most relevant questions about the movie and Nic's experience. The movie is so beautiful and Nic Sheff is a very inspiring and lovely person. The story needs to be carried to people who need it!

exactly what I was thinking a lot of people don't research the physiological aspects of the drug and how it dries your sinuses and take things for hair follicle stimulation calcium bone retention regrowth and dopamine supps for neuro recluster the inability to feel pleasure is anhedonia

It is not uncommon for the most empathetic, open hearted, kind and creative of people to fall into addiction. They are those of us who feel to much. Who think to much. People fail to understand this, because the behavior during the addiction, in so many ways, seems just the opposite. Consequently, the way society has chosen to deal with the issue is the ramp up the drug war - Which does more harm than good, in countless ways. If we'd take all the money used to fight the war on drugs and put it instead to providing evidence based prevention and treatment - harm reduction, education and job training - so many more lives could be saved.

I’m currently reading Beautiful Boy and I’m definitely reading Tweak next!! This film felt so real and I felt all the emotions of despair and disappointment and happiness throughout that Steve/David felt for Timothée/Nic. The end of the film where it told us about how Nic was doing now etc had the theatre in complete silence. You could have heard a pin drop and when the credits rolled everyone was sobbing. So happy Nic is doing better now and I hope he continues to keep living sober

I loved the movie & Nic’s raw, fascinating book Tweak. His personality is so appealing & I hope his story helps people who suffer from addiction.

I love this guy. He's the epitome of Dante's invention of hell. His story of addiction is harrowing. The movie doesn't show the dispair and horror of crystal meth addiction. Xx

Must be nice to have so much support and empathy. Black addicts were given jail time and told to pull themselves up by their boot straps.....
