    The shot it produces looks better than those from Breville Bambino which is more expensive and has less features. I'm happy with my H10A though but this seems to be a great choice if you really want a tiny espresso machine with better features than most entry-level ones.

      And the shot tastes good. :) ☕It's quite easy to get a balanced and great-tasting shot with their machines. Puck prep might be a bit trickier with the 51mm basket compared to the 58mm basket in the H10A. And I'm happy to see all those settings available on this machine.😀

      Also I think a 51mm portafilter is much more forgiving than a 58mm portafilter in the puck prep, because of the extra height of the puck itself for the same amount of ground coffee. So again very appealing for a beginner or someone who enjoy a streamlined but "true espresso" experience. I have an H10A too and it's my first espresso machine... thanks to @brewcoffeehome!

    Is that HiBrew G3 grinder you're using in the video?
    I am interested in upgrading my setup, but one key requirement is it being as slim as possible.
    Currently have Krups Virtuoso machine (similar to dedica), paired with old disc based Krups grinder (doesn't grind fine enough for non-pressurized basket, despite modding it, clearance between grind discs is as small as can be).
    H10B seems like great upgrade - pressure gauge, temp setting, proper steam wand (as opposed to Panarello on Krups), and very importantly it's slim. I would get new grinder too - do you think G3 can grind fine enough for pulling shots in non-pressurized basket?

      I used the HiBrew G5 in the video. I haven't tried the G3, so I'm not sure how it performs for espresso, but the G5 can definitely grind for a non-pressurized basket.

    Is there any difference in machine capability and features between the H10A and the H10B, or is it only about size, 51mm vs 58mm and included accessories?

    • @brewcoffeehome
      @brewcoffeehome  3 місяці тому +2

      Yes, size, portafilter size and accessories are different. The features are pretty much the same. I didn't compare the internal parts, so I'm not sure if there are any other differences.

      tienen que ser granos lo mas fresco posible. Utiliza para empezar 16gramos. Si el manometro no llega a la zona verde tendrás que moler mas fino; si pasa de la verde tendrás que moler más grueso. Haz un par de pruebas pero SIEMPRE con el cafe más fresco posible.

    Is it better than the delonghi dedica ?

    • @Lorec03
      @Lorec03 6 місяців тому

      I guess the devil is in the details. Its slightly cheaper than ec885 and it has a manometer, temperature control and preinfusion settings. Big win there.
      I wish i'd knew about it before I got ec885. That being said its not available in my region anyway.

      @@Lorec03 I've had the Dedica for four years, I'm curious about the long-term durability and maintenance requirements of the Hibrew machine.

    • @_w_w_
      @_w_w_ Місяць тому

      The Dedica is better made - build quality is much better. My friend bought a Hibrew and it died after a few months and it was impossible to get it serviced or warrantied I have to admit these no-name Chinese junk brands are catching up fast. Delongi, Breville and Philips need to watch their back or the Chinese will kill those brands like they did with other kitchen gears.

      @@nasrulsyahirmohdshukri7540 Are we even talking about the same machine? The Dedica has a much better build than this. I looked at stability, seals, fitting, tight tolerance and Dedica beats this machine in all areas.

    You do realize that pressure was too high? That was around 12 or more bars of pressure. 9 bars is at the top of the gauge. You can verify with the display on the new H10 plus or with a pressurized basket designed to give 9 bars of pressure.
