  • Anders Danielsen Lie joins us to discuss his career and his two new films: Mia Hansen-Løve's Bergman Island and The Worst Person in the World, the final part of Joachim Trier’s Oslo trilogy.
Danielsen Lie has regularly featured in the festival. His global career was launched with Trier’s Reprise, which screened in competition in 2006, and was followed by 2011’s Cannes Un Certain Regard-nominated Oslo, August 31st. Alongside his work with Trier, Danielsen Lie has also starred in English-language films by acclaimed European directors Olivier Assayas (Personal Shopper) and Paul Greengrass (22 July, playing real-life far-right domestic terrorist Anders Behring Breivik).
In addition to his extensive acting career, Danielsen Lie’s talents are wide and varied. In 2011, he wrote, performed and produced the album ‘This is Autism’, inspired by recordings from his childhood. And when not performing he works as a doctor, with his own medical practice.
