audix drum mics are fantastic. Although each model d6 d4 and d2 are marketed as for particular drums and are probbably voiced for them, its no set rule. Ive had fun using odd mics on odd instruments like beta52's on guitar cabs and even on a snare drum. Even tom mics on kick drums. the D4 is great on a kick aswell, the D2 also which gives a more percussive kick rather than beefy kick.
@thecravenator42069 i heard that and decided that there was no use of buying an expensive china...so i spent about $60 on a Wuhan china- GREAT DEAL. trashy sound that i was looking for, and its been going strong for about 6 months now. i play metal and ive beat the crap outta the thing, its still good
