Hi Loobie!! First of all, happy new year :3 anyway, will u ever play Bloodsouls? It is a DS3 mod with veeeeeery new stuff!! But I didn't c any real good player as u r, so I hope u will play it 🖤
Does anyone know how the Realm of a Dragonslayer fight works? I went so far as to comb through the mod's wiki and discord and still couldn't find an explanation.
Basically the boss cycles through each of the knights in a semi-random intervall. The knight that is fully visible is the one that can be attacked. While in ghost form, the other two knights deal less damage to balance the 3v1. Also Gough is still blind, so he will sometimes stop attacking you.
I always watch these and think it would be fun to play the mod for myself, and then it gets to something like "the funeral party" here (shout out to the guy in the chat quoting The Cure!) and I go "oh no, no it wouldn't be..." ;)
I need to go back to that fight when I have more attunement slots. Some of the spells in this mod are crazy powerful, I'm just sloppy and run out, and then die. I was thinking they were optional fights, though. It's pretty cool how well these enemies work together, with their different movement speeds, attacks, and aggression levels.
Just try it :-) The dream bosses are looking harder than they actually are. I was a little sad, that Lobos did the Prince of Illusions fight one time, got to the second phase and never touched the boss again after dying once. And yeah, all dream bosses are completely optional fights and are meant as an endgame challenge. Also I don't know if Lobos has noticed it, but in the Realm of the Dragon Slayer fight only the active knight is able to deal full damage. The other two deal less damage, which balances the 3 v 1 fight.
@@fennrixftr8698 Well, thanks for spoiling half of it for me, then ;) I might still play it, tbh.
