- This is absolute goosebumps and it's also the most dangerous race in the world. It’s called the Isle of Man TT, held every year on a small island between England and Ireland. The race takes place on an incredibly narrow, mountainous course that’s essentially closed public streets lined with houses, trees, and utility poles. This track has over 200 tight curves and turns within its 37-mile span, yet bikes often reach speeds of over 200 mph on these public roads. Since the race started in 1907, more than 250 racers have lost their lives.

I stayed on the Island during the race and can say that it is an incredible experience. Not just the speed, but also the enthusiasm of the people that live there. And losing a life is not the issue...

Well the first clip isn’t the IOM TT , it’s Irish road racing and you can tell by multiple riders riding close to each other. If you love the TT then you watching the northwest 200 to see who’s running well for the upcoming TT .

That first clip is not the TT, it's from the Armoy races which is another crazy road race in Northern ireland. Good video none the less, respect for all these riders

Hi Jasper, The first bit of your clip isn't from the Isle of Man it's from the Armoy Race of Legends road race held in late July Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. There's 2 jumps at that section the Lagge Jump and Dunlops Leap.
No room for error, no other race with bikes or cars has ever claimed as many lives.

Compare that to the Wales’ 20mph speed limit that has forced the organisers to reroute a junior cycling course because the support vehicles that follow the cyclists will be fined for breaking the speed limit of 20mph and the Welsh government has not given permission to close the roads off when and where the cycling race occurs.

The father of a friend died doing that race. Didn't put his son off riding a bike though. I guess if motorbiking is in your blood that's it. I'm kinda the same with a pushbike.
