Dentaurum colors....takes me back. PCSO exhibitor 1983, L.A. Made colored retainers for display. All they had was blue, red, yellow and green. Docs and office help were amused. "Who would want a green retainer, or yellow, they laughed". They did not laugh at the rainbow. Next PCSO in L.A. and AAO, colors were everywhere. Also pictures in retainers. Tougher to do back then, no computer to alter size and chroma. Me? Since 1969. Still at it in the forest in Oregon now. No more PCSOs, no more AAOs. They are all different now. Printing models as well now. Just use 3 EPAX 10 printers.
You can buy the 4 in on Amazon It has a bigger arbor hole so you need to contact me and i will show you how to set it up. Typically will last at least 6 months if used properly (daily)
Im going to make a video when i buy a new demonstrating its awesome power. I can actually trim a retainer with it and directly pumice in under 2 minutes. Skipping hand trimming. Youll have to see it to believe it🧐🧐🧐🧐
Hi Steve, it has been for years that I'm using the Dentaurum acrylic and it is really great. Now I'm interested about that rubber trimmer, hope you give some infos about that as you said in your comment. Thanks a lot.
Hi! Is it possible to tint the monomer liquid with alcohol based dyes (which are used to tint epoxy resin castings) since i dont have access to colored monomers where im from
That's going to be a problem. Ive seen this before from other techs from India. A friend of mine who works for a US chemical company told me the cloudiness is called from the chemical bonding of covalent bonds between monomer and polymer atoms. You need to try another brand if possible
Please keep uploading videos. I have learned a lot from u. Thanks a lot

Could you please tell sir how did you manage to cure did you flask it or not??
No flask needed. Just put in a pressure pot at 22psa above warm water 125°f for about 8 to 10 minutes
How to avoid bubbles or white patches in Salt and pepper technique for cold cure denture?
Place denture over warm water not submerged in pressure pot 24psi for 12 minutes
@@SzaraDentalLab Any other alternative to pressure pot since being a dental student we don't have machinery
@@sagarshah2251 Not good. thats why you are getting tiny holes in your acrylic. Needs to cured under pressure

Its called a hard rubberized wheel by the company Cratex

Not sure
Still not using a sandpaper mandrel as the last step before polishing?
Only on rare occasions. My e cutters leave smooth enough cuts that i don't really need the extra step
Szara Dental Lab I’m ordering one😂
How do you remove haze from clear acrylic other than using mineral oil?
This depends a lot on which acrylic you are using?
@@SzaraDentalLab It's an Indian brand DPI clear cold cure monomer
