Getting Nate Heise surprised me, I was hoping we’d focus on post players as far as the portal goes. After watching these highlights and a few UNI games I understand why ISU wanted him so badly. His big, great passer and a knock down shooter. Not to mention, TJ knows a heck of a lot more than me on what the team needs are. GO CYCLONES 🌀 🌪🌪🌪🌪

@@dlansman I wonder if Jones prefers to come off the bench? Not sure if you remember Tyrus McGee. Knock down three point shooter, maybe one of the best peer shooters to play for ISU. Hoiberg wanted to start him but Tyrus said he prefers to come the bench. It’s really a selfless decision by that player. I feel like Jones is that type of guy. Whatever is best for the team.
He probably coming off the bench. We already got Momcilovic, Gilbert’s, and Lipsey. He will be a great backup PG and we sub early and often so he will get plenty of run in him.
