He has all the tools and skill set to be an exceptional force on the next level. Once he gets access to a strength, conditioning and nutritional coach, he’s going to be even more of a problem. He has an old school game that’s unstoppable and most modern kids playing have no idea to stop
Warriors need to get him, he can be the Looney replacement, he’s a great passer, he’s got great post moves and can score whenever he needs to! Would be great in the Warriors system
That's a horrible fit. Warriors need more size not another playmaker. They need rebounding, interior defense and hard screens. Burns gives them none of that.
@@r0nth0mas12 If he learns to handle the ball a lil better and not use the same two moves he's going to be a problem. That's something that can be taught with reps, the rest he has already.
I love this. It's about the closest thing I have seen to an NFL offensive or defensive lineman playing basketball. Is big enough to clog the lane on his own, get rebound and, score. Nice part is, it allows you to have one more player on the perimeter or mid court. My type of team having someone like Burns is it allows you to put together a team with blazing speed. On defense the speed especially when closing in on an opponent allows a lot of freelancing, chance taking because it can allow chance taking. Physicality is a must. On offense, a simpler playbook is allowed because the other team will start getting worn down and not able to keep up with your team
Zack Randolph? Zion? Al Jefferson? Shit Charles Barkley for a stint. Those are just some random names I thought of. Plenty of big bodied basketball players throughout the years. NBA has moved away from post scoring, don’t make him unique.
@@honeyfro2615 lemme clear up my statement of course the perimeter game is emphasized. But, being able to clear up one more defender and have a really fast team allows a more disruptive defense. One, that after big plays causes the opponent to hesitate
Imagine a Denver Nuggets team with continuity between first and second unit... Give to this kid two years of training with the joker and who knows what can happen
I think Shannon is right. Not often a man that big , have that good of movement. I wish liangelo ball listened to Shannon when he said this as well when I think about it
Man if this dude gets in the weight room and becomes a gym rat folks are in trouble. He reminds me of Oliver Miller with those passing skills, but he can be more with that spin move.
He’s great at his left but not as good with his right his shoots from the right baseline rather than going in but does all from his left like this comment if you agree
great footwork, i assume he isn't the best defender by any means. wouldn't know where he'd fit in today's NBA especially since he's 6'9 275. I guess the Nets could use him for development purposes. He'd fit nice with Cam Thomas.

here from jokic saying he loves him. I can see why. He plays a lot like him. Skilled post moves, tight handle, court vision
It's Zbo with jokic passing
hes gonna be a beast on the cavs
Hes gonna be a beast on the sono(kbl)
Jokic aint lie, that man pass da ball like a bullet!!

I love big fella.❤🔥
Big, strong, quick, good skills. I love watching this guy. Especially his passing.
Now he has lost 45 lbs. If that vertical goes up, he gonna be a problem.

He'll just be Draymond with size, he needs a team he can get the ball down low maybe kick to a shooter every now and then, I think the pacers
Bro what 😂😂😂
his right needs to be as dominant as his left and he'll be unstoppable in the paint🔥
Exactly
Has the potential to be Zach Randolph 2.0
Thinking the same thing. Zbo

Yes but needs a solid jumper Zbo had that jumpshot and he could create it off the iso and pick n pop.

How un-exciting.
DJ Buckets is a real good name.
I just miss watching bigs grind like this.
Nice foot work.

I went here because of the news that he got an invite for a workout with the Lakers. Let’s go big dawg
If the NBA won't give this kid a fair shot, he needs to convert to offensive tackle. Size, length, explosive, great footwork...
He will play someplace. The NBA is dying.

Kid's unreal.
Love to see this guy post up Wemby
omg he's gonna play in korea?
Dj burns jr is the robert traylor incarnate
And Traylors NBA career went nowhere
As a lefty, I should tell him he should stay one more year in the league. So we can develop a right dominant strong
Give me this as jokic's backup🔥
DJ Burns all in the dawn house
He would dead be great on the Grizzlies no cap
we saw how that went with lofton already and they eventually waived him
Yea but he’s bigger and more polished plus he’s getting praise from the reigning fmvp. So it’s looking good for him
He is betrer than kenneth.
He is bigger, way better passer, more dominant and has a way better post up game and shooting.
@DaunteDesouza nowhere is he more polished than Lofton
@@irep340v.i._state_of_mind2 not yet atleast. He Fs has more potential bc of his size tho.
He’s ghost buster’s

Crazy to think that Bronny James was drafted and not this beast 🤦🏽♂️ LeBron is making this league a circus 🤡
He is like Jokić
passing and footwork wise yes. he's not a good rebounder to say the least but he's quicker than jokic i can say
Jokic is a very good comp, post footwork and passing look very similar to a younger Jokic, although I would argue especially now Jokic is much quicker
He’s more like Zbo in my opinion
Y’all telling me this ain’t Zach Randolph’ son. 😂
Miami ?
Reminds me of Zach Randolph but I feel like this is a blown knee waiting to happen. That’s a lot of man twisting, turning, exploding.
post game reminded me of CB34
He’s got the right mindset just gotta work on his body and reaction time and he’ll be a solid player

Would fit good and chat as their help defender near the rim, helping from a non shooter.
Shannon Sharpe said his game will translate better in the NFL & he’ll have a better NFL career than in the NBA.

Draft him and then hire Akeem to teach moves and it becomes a profitable investment

Dude looks like he could line up at left tackle
its a future lakers
I’ll let you know now he’s a better player than Edey offensively and it’s not even close
Give him workout Thunder
Best comparison for me is Zach Randolph
His low post game reminds me of Zbo. Hes gonna be a good NBA player if he works more on his conditioning 💯.
Hope he goes to the grizzlies
How are you that heavy playing basketball.
The black joker..can't wait to see him in the nba
he could be the upgraded zach randolph
