I’ve been a ferociously adamant follower since I heard your “understated tour de force” style of playing on the Scofield Überjam opener “Acidhead” for the first time! It profoundly changed the way I play and process rhythm entirely! In that moment I was frozen with joyful concentration and literally asked the FOH sound engineer to keep it going as it was a very VERY bad time for a gig (9/12/2001) and the audience were all close friends’n fam, who are all fans now as well!
