Just don't buy Many customers, including me, have several annoying issues with these speakers which make them unusable. Cackling sound, music suddenly stops, sometimes speakers just don't connect. Best and only solution is to use a timer socket to unplug/replug the speaker at least twice a day. Looks like Marshall doesn't care about those issues and in many countries is not selling these speakers anymore. I thought maybe some software update will fix them but after a few years still the same 👎
I don't have Marshall, but I do have 14 wifi speakers. What you're describing is an issue of bandwidth. If you have too many speakers running, or too many devices tugging on your bandwidth, you will have all the issues you described. I can only have 8 speakers maximum running at a time for rock solid stability. Any more than that, I start having all sorts of these exact same problems you described. All the rest have to be shut off. Take some of the pressure off your network and you'll have a better experience. Your Marshall's are just little computers with speakers instead of screens. Sometimes, they have to buffer just like any smart phone or computer that doesn't have the bandwidth to play that 4k video or open that complex, ad riddled, webpage.
cone i have looked into the costs of these speakers and does not look that expensive, sure they do cost more than the previous bluetooth versions but offer far more stuff. I'd say they are worth it
Dudeius Mannigast I think more than $100 is kinda ridiculous for these speakers. You can go on Craigslist and find some really good speakers and then buy a stereo receiver for a fraction of the cost
