Your masking skills are sublime, new subscriber 😁 👍
Hi Tim, thank you for the kind words and the subscription! All the best.
You are absolutely a top notch builder
Bravo.
That's looks perfect! Is this your favorite build?
Hi Temet! Thank you for appreciating the build. I sure did enjoy this build a lot, but it is hard to pick a favourite!! I suppose it is a little like trying to pick a favourite child :) It is one of my favourite models to look at though. All the best.
What technique have you used to create those perfect masks tape ? It's incredible....
Hi Fabrizio, the masks I used are from Aztek Dummy and are part #AD-63. Highly recommended! Thanks for commenting :)
@@ArcticModeler Thanx ! Unfortunately they do not ship their products outside UK... 🥲
Hey Fabrizio, I ordered mine from culttvman and they shipped international for me. Maybe worth checking out. Good luck!

@@ArcticModeler Thanx again ! I'll give it a try.
@@ArcticModeler Order placed ! Thank you for the infos.
There were no greens on the original exterior!!
Where did you get your pilots from?
Hey Mike, the pilots were from the 1:72 Hasegawa ground crew set that I was able to purchase from a local hobby store here in Canada: www.greathobbies.com/productinfo/?prod_id=HSG35007
Take care.
@@ArcticModeler Just went to the site and am going to pick up a set for my next build. I am assuming you used the paragrafix photoetch set for the cockpit interior. That is what I did on my first build. Ilooked for pilot figures everywhere but I never thought of using fighter pilots. Thanks for the info.
Hi Mike, yes, the fighter pilots work pretty well after a bit of x-acto surgery on their oxygen face masks. =) As you probably already noticed in the video at the 4:00 minute mark, if you are using these pilots then you need to adjust the Paragrafix photoetch seats a bit lower than indicated on the cockpit back wall plate.
In case you are interested, I talk a bit more about the pilot modifications in part 1 of this video series at the 10: 37 minutes here: ua-cam.com/video/CxXTbRQI2J4/v-deo.html
I will watch to see how your build turns out! Have fun and take care.
@@ArcticModeler I just watched the 1st video and those pilots look great. I am going to order another eagle this weekend! I am hoping to get the engine assembly complete this weekend. Then I only need to put the passenger pod together and that should go pretty quick. I just don't get as much time to build as I would want. In the future I need to film the whole build before I start posting videos so I can get them out quicker. Happy New Year.
The fact that if you do the command module to an actual realistic scale, the helmets should only be seen at the tops. I wish someone would actually make it accurate to what it would actually be and not the "screen accurate".
"I wish" You would send us a link to Your video showing us how it's done.
