i have posted the problem on ubi and steam forums and got a fix that worked for me: @Tri3st, Try doing this: Under ATI's CCC (Catalyst Control Center), try increasing the value of 'Mipmap Detail Level' setting, under the 3D section. Move/increase the slider to the right side, and then check the in-game graphics. Also make sure All the settings under 3D (AA, AF etc.), are set to the 'Use application settings' option. Good luck, hope it works for you too. its a great game (when it works hehe)
@Thelindd753 THey have that online checking that they do when you play. To prevent the playing of pirated versions. Maybe it does have something to with that afterall.
I have the same problem running ATI HD5970 Black on HP LP3065 @ 2560x1900 However i have another output from the card to my samsung lcd tv it seems to work fine on this for some reason. Can anybody help i have tried all the settings for the monitor but no luck.
@ajohnstitch Have you looked on the ubi forums? some helpful tips on there. its soved the problem for me. Mipmap detail level slide to the right (Quality) And there is a new patch out now. maybe that has solved a few issues as well?

And yes my comp meets minimum & highest requirement. and im playing on low, it runs perfectly till the error thing comes.
