@@CaraMedonho I think it's a double meaning. He's likely referring to Toriel above all else, but I think Sans SUPER cares what happens to Frisk. When you get this scene on a neutral run, depending on how violent you've been, I kind of interpret it as a form of guilt tripping. He's basically saying, look, your sweet goat mom asked me to be kind to you because she loves you, and you repaid us both by killing (x) amount of our friends? He's kind of calling you out for taking advantage of her optimism, and his decision to trust both her and you. But on a pacifist run, I think he's both letting you know that Toriel loves you, and ALSO admitting out loud that he's grown to care for and believe in you too, so you shouldn't let him down. It's very rare that an animation gets sans' character right, but you really got it down. His voice actor and mannerisms are just as I pictured them. Amazing work with a unique style. Hope to see more from yall
I can tell that you really get Sans as a character. People really don't nail his character down that often, but something like this, and as another example, "sans" by J-Bug, I feel are perfect representations of one of my favorite characters.
The voice for Sans is perfect, the way his laugh mimics the sound FX of his text in game and the delivery of "dishes a very bad joke" got me. And Frisk's body language is top notch you can really feel the discomfort. I also love that the way this is animated in combination with it featuring a 3d skeleton gives grim fandango vibes and there's something really charming about that for me. 10/10
everytime i think about this i'm reminded of the sad fact an undertale movie wouldn't work at all because of the games narrative not fitting in a movie form at all, and the game revolving around choices while a film can only have one outcome
I had a friend who was a big fan of indie games, Undertale was one of them. I've always been a fan of Undertale, and Sans had a big impact on me when it came to having conversations with people who had problems with mental issues In the date with sans the phrase "take care of yourself kid, because someone really cares about you" stuck with me, and I used it to help people who needed to hear that someone really cares about them, including me My friend, over time, was unable to go through that stage, and although everyone can live with the memory of her, I will always associate her with this specific scene because of how similar our first encounter was. This animation was spectacular and exceeded my expectations, I was aware of its process on Twitter and seeing it finally published is a gift, especially at this time Thank you so much, keep creating beautiful art
This fanfilm has Sans' character right down to a 'T'. Seriously, I adore the animation here, and Kellen Goff does a great job voicing the funny skeleton! If there's one thing to take away from this fanfilm (and the original scene it's based on), it's that you should always take care of yourself, because there's someone out there who really cares about you.
God again commenting the animation work here and the body acting is just....insane. IN. SANE. there is SO much in every sequence. The small movementa, the follow through w the hands especially. Like WOW. Sans' hand acting speak so much to his character. So...just so stellar. Even tiny things like him pushing back the chair??? Ugh. WOW
During his montage of "I came back the next day... and the day after that," that first little trot up the step and excited lean-in to knock-- That's what got me 🥹
The first thing sans said. "So, Your journey's almost over, huh?" Really sinks in with the song as you listen to the narration. Sans then goes to say the tale of Toriel and Sans' bond. Backing up to the first thing Sans said, the song really gives off the ambient that you are about to end Undertale's tale. Again to reset, but you take the moments to travel, pick up items, fight monsters, instead of carrying ahead so quickly. You take every ounce of determination, every single little speckle of what is to come ahead. Reading every dialogue, seeing every monster, curiously and lonesomely wandering through many terrains through the underground. The song gets more louder, as if speaking to you. The song gets so much more intimate to the piano keys, every little note chorusing with the meaning. First thing Sans said: 0:06
I'm freaking losing my mind at KELLEN FREAKING GOFF as Sans, the man's range never once ceases to amaze me. Every character sounds so distinct. This is one of my FAVORITE scenes in the entire game, and Sans' (and Frisk's!) body language is just so natural and endearing, it makes me feel kind of sad and kind of cozy just like the actual scene in the game. The choice of background music probably helps, since the David Peacock piano soundtrack is one of my comfort OSTs lol. Also this feels like a weird praise, but the fact it's JUST the game's own dialogue verbatim speaking for itself, but added with your own interpretations of voice and body language, it just REALLY works and hits the perfect balance of nostalgia and excitingly new. Tl;Dr, I love this a lot, into my comfort animation playlist it goes
That was incredible! I loved that the fallen human was uncomfortable the whole time, and Sans' body language was excellent. Lol very 'uncle tells stories at the dinner table'. And all the different ways he strolled across the door to the ruins! And the voice acting was awesome. Great job everyone!! Thank you so much for this masterpiece!!
ngl i watched thousands of comic dubs, fan animations, but that's the *best* representation of sans i've ever seen so far. The voice, the posture, the laughs, all perfect. Maybe one thing i didn't like, was that the music disn't stop when he had black eyes.
I am so happy to hear Kellen Goff's voice more and more often nowadays. His voice range is amazing, and l am in love with his voice. He absolutely deserves all that recognition
Words can not express how much I love the voice acting and animation, I always rewatch it if I have time to just take in how perfect everything is. This is something I’m going to remember for a while, absolutely fantastic.
i love how sans’s smile looks forced in comparison to the other features of his face, his half-closed eyes and eyebags, its showing that hes not really happy, hes putting on a facade
Sans's smile isn't forced here. He's a skeleton. That's just how his face looks. Like Papyrus, Sans has a little bit of give on the corners of his grin, but even when he's taken by surprise or severely hurt, the grin drops by maybe 1 pixel. There's a reason why W. D. Gaster's noise soundtrack is named "smile."
@@Ally_Leaf honestly, either way i like the idea of a forced smile, and if it is just because he’s a skeleton than its still forced to show for every emotion, just not by him himself
@Ally_Leaf That's true. Sans can't frown canonically only because he's a skeleton (Papyrus is just a bit more cartoony). But despite his permanent smile, it doesn't convey his true feelings. He wants to give up and the only thing stopping him from doing so is Papyrus. But his new photo you find in his basement after Asriel's boss fight shows that he has regained genuine happiness again.
This. This is perfect. You fully encapsulate sans as a character with the voice and movements. You also manage to perfectly animate frisk. The way his face scrunchs and grimaces when sans eludes to the saving and time manipulation junk like "ooh this guy knows way too much" and the way they flinch at the "dead where you stand" line is perfect. The way their face moves in curiosity at the story and looks worried is just magnificent. Its neat how you managed to animte both sans and frisk's expressions to encapsulate their feeling so well despite tbe limits both characters have. Sans only having eyes to show expressions and frisk only having a mouth and eyebrows to properly show emotions which some may say is relatively easy to do but they don't get how useful and eye narrow can be to show emotions. Id love to see more of undertale animated like this.
I don't comment often, but the usage of the mannerism, the music and the weight of Sans's voice with every word displaying his charisma accompanied with the style of animation and Frisk's face when they realize that Sans is very, very aware of YOUR power. I'm amazed, this is art! What a fantastic transition.
hey look, it's the guy who exposed me to an insane amount of Undertale comics years ago. pretty cool seeing u here, appreciate the work you put into your Sans voice-overs, or basically any character you voice act in general
Something about this portrayal of Sans manages to strike a chord that I've never considered before... "take care of yourself, kid... because someone really cares about you." It's not Sans, he's talking about TORIEL. He doesn't even know her name, and yet he's sticking his neck out to protect you purely because of his appreciation for her companionship. Really solidifies that he truly DOESN'T care about you, and would 100% have killed you if he hadn't made that special promise to a "someone" who could make him laugh. This video, man... absolutely brilliant
Hint: "don't tell that to the other sans-es, ok?" Remember, Sans just said "i'm rootin' for ya, kid." Asriel includes Sans in your roll call of friends and says "they all really love you." In fact, it's your friendship with Sans that pulls him out of being a Lost Soul. (Also fun note: Sans and Papyrus have differently-shaped attacks, and Sans doesn't attack you at all as a Lost Soul.) A lot of Sans's actions go far beyond just fulfilling a promise, which he could have done from a distance. You get a much bigger picture of him through dialogue with other characters plus the Geno route. Also check his interactions with the Player in Deltarune, and some amazing tidbits in the art book. Sans isn't anti-humanity or driven by vengeance. But you have to do some digging in different routes + game files to understand who he is and what he's really about.
@@Ally_Leaf Good points, I hadn't considered these! Personally, I see him saying "i'm rooting for you" as a mere show of support, rather than being based on actual care for your wellbeing. Asriel calls him your friend, but you don't really do anything throughout the story to MAKE him your friend (plus, Asriel doesn't even know who Sans is). In a pacifist route, you spare and befriend his brother, and you can go to Grillby's afterwards, but it's still not exactly friendly. It's implied he leaves the whoopee cushion on your seat (possibly as a way to warn you to stay alert), the only real kind thing he does for you is offering you his food if you spill ketchup on yours. There's the scene that this fan film is based on, but again, he doesn't come off as being very friendly towards you. He downright threatens your life and shrugs it off as a joke. Again, it just doesn't strike me as friendly. He obviously knows more than he lets on, with implied links to science and some semblance of "home" he keeps trying to "go back" to, and can read you like a book. Of course, you can interpret him as being a true friend to you, but even as a lost soul, he doesn't necessarily come back through your friendship. One of his SAVE options has you telling him you'd think about what you'd done, with him "[nodding] solemnly" in response. Overall, he just seems to be helping you out of obligation, with his laziness being the reason he "hates making promises". He'll support you on your journey, but at the end of the day, he's a (mostly) impartial judge and has no reason to outright like you.
@@pugmandoes_va Asriel absorbed their SOULs. He says "with everyone's souls inside me... I not only have my own compassion back... But I can feel every other monster's as well. They all care about each other so much. And... they care about you too, Frisk." This is how he knows "they all really love you." How did we become Sans's friend? Probably because we put up with his jokes, listened to his advice, befriended his little brother, and reset the timeline just so we could avoid killing anyone. So we know Sans cares about us in True Pacifist. But what about before? A lot of info comes out in the NO MERCY route, particularly directly before and after you have the option to SPARE Sans. Now compare Sans's CHECK info with what you find in the Snowdin Library books + when you TALK 3x during Asgore's fight. As for the rest: check the Neutral Leaderless ending + Grillby's scene when you call Papyrus "uncool." ua-cam.com/video/5ESpZqFxTTE/v-deo.htmlsi=SZ3qh95maKIlcqYo&t=1359 nochocolate.tumblr.com/post/145019832850
@@pugmandoes_vaThis perfectly describes the secondary intention to Sans, but Sans is a very grey character. Nothing is black and white, every motive has a secondary intent just as much as there is a first one. Sans helps us because of the promise he made, but it's wrong to assume he didn't build any connection whatsoever. There are specific interactions in the game that didn't need to happen for him to keep us safe, or simply fulfill the promise he made. While yes, a lot of the optional scenes like Grillby's and the MTT Resort "dates" are a way for him to convey a message that needed an intimate moment to fully convey, he still acts kind towards us during these moments as well as get a point across. He doesn't have to give up his food if we drench ours in ketchup, or give kind words to us before and after his Toriel spiel, but he does anyway. He doesn't have to humor us by stacking all of those hotdogs on our head in Hotland, but he does anyway. The little reset escapade we do in the corridor to gain access to his room also shows that our resets don't have to be something Sans hates us for, or holds against us under negative connotation. Once he figured us out to a full extent, he used it as an opportunity to crack jokes and give us an optional means of exploration beyond simply fulfilling a promise. Not to mention that he at some point after the events of Asriel's fight went back and put a picture of everyone together in his lab behind his house. That's something he went out of his way to do, and very uncharacteristic for a character who doesn't care about us. Even if it wasn't because we were in the picture, he could have taken one with everyone before meeting us, so that doesn't make much sense. Again, I see where you're coming from with the negative aspects of Sans's character, but there are positive aspects too. He's just really complex, and it's hard to know the full extent of his motives and the emotions he's feeling. He's hard to read, and that's exactly the point of his character! I love him for it:)
This is probably one of the most faithful recreations of anything from undertale that I’ve seen, genuinely. The Sans’s voice acting and inflections especially are SPOT ON. My only minor gripe is that it takes away one of the unintentionally funny parts of that scene where they’re both just standing at the table without chairs. But it looks better how you had it, so I can’t complain. Amazing work 👍🏻
This is incredible, Kellen has a perfect Sans voice and the fact this is 3 HOURS OLD is insane to me. Keep making what all of you want to make, cause this is insanely polished.
this is probably my favorite undertale thing i've ever seen. sans' voice acting and character acting just feels exactly like how i imagined him. the low framerate animation and the art style captures a roughness that just feels so much like undertale.
Wow. That was amazing! I love how expressive Sans is with both the animation and the voice lines, and the animation and style here is just great. It’s extremely well done and does this scene justice. Not even kidding one of the best undertale fan works I’ve seen!
Yo, this animation is actually super well put together. I love how perfectly fluid and expressive all the body movement is, and aside from the fact we don’t see Toriel, you could watch this without audio and tell pretty accurately what the characters are feeling. I also really love the cinematography, the way shots are framed to leave more of an impression than just a simple back and forth. Transitions are pretty cool too. Despite the fact Undertale is over 8 years old and people aren’t making stuff for it as much anymore, this game still holds a special place in my heart along with anyone that puts in their own time and passion into an amazing animation like this. Amazing job, truly 😊
you're welcome!! of course!! I really hope Japanese fans of Undertale can enjoy this too... I made sure to use the game dialogue so it feels nostalgic too 😊 feel free to share this with anyone else who also speaks Japanese, maybe they'll enjoy it too? Thank you!!
This is the best interpretation of Sans I've ever seen, probably the most accurate, too. Not to mention the voice acting??? Wow, really incredible work. The animation is also super charming and immersive 🤧
I have to use the translator yes or yes to express what this video has done to me. It is simply PERFECT, it is one of the best adaptations of Sans' dinner and the human that I have seen in the last 9 years of this video game's existence. Sans's personality, Kellen's perfect acting, and the beautiful animation by you and the story board work is beautiful, you don't know how much these types of videos are currently appreciated in this community, very rarely do people do things so innovative with scenes from the game, but I have to take off my hat that I don't have to congratulate the excellent job they did. Did I already say that all this is perfect? well it doesn't matter, I say it again, PERFECT. All the work and effort put in here is excellent, congratulations and blessings to all those who worked hard on this, greetings from me!
The character acting and the storyboarding and the voice inflections --- AUGH IT IS SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD YOU GUYS DID AMAZING WORK 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤ HOPIN THIS BLOWS UP
Him saying "Take care of yourself kid, cause someone out there really cares about you" hits so hard. It reminded me when I first played undertale, I used to find it hard to play at first but as I kept playing it in time it got better. Also the first and only game to make me cry for the ending, as I get older it makes appreciate how even when the game doesn't look like the best 2024 graphics ever it's story will always be better than a large chunk of this "Throw a unfinished game out for a cash grab" generation.
I think an extremely underrated aspect of Kellen's performance is when he restates Toriel's text. It legitimately sounds less like Sans just reading a script, and instead, Sans unironically making an (albeit lazy, which is in-character) attempt at mimicing Toriel's way of speaking. The amount of skill shown there is. Wow.
Words can't express how amazing and perfect this is. The animation, model, voice acting and expressions are spectacular. Kellen did a fantastic job on his voice, I think it should be the canon voice for him tbh, just like how everyone gives papyrus the skeletor voice. I'd love to see more undertale animations from you!
That’s why the game was a hit amongst its community and people who were interested in it. It wasn’t just a game, it was one of the greatest stories ever told. Not too complex or complicated but had a perfect mix of secret lore and feels. Also the mysteries keep you guessing and wondering about the game years later. Toby is a genius
Took me straight back to 2016. Like I’m in the game. Crazy seeing these scenes remade like this when you’ve been keeping track of a game for nearly a decade after its release. Became a fan at age 13 and remained a fan to this day at age 20, glad people are still keeping the community alive.
This is amazing work! While I had started to love the game before this moment, this scene is the one that drove the nail in, so to speak. I absolutely loved the game after this point. There's something about him calling you out, letting you know he knows you can reset, knowing his world's mechanics the way he does, leveling with you and questioning your choice to push forward, while making it clear he will do whatever it takes to protect those he loves in the most chilling way to drive that point home... So, nailing this moment like you have is so cool to me. You should definitely do other key scenes from the game, if you haven't already. I'd love to see an animation of the True Lab sequence where you read the panels on the walls, or maybe one where you're traveling through Waterfall, reading the panels there, and insted of just the words you get a small flashback in each one, like the character's imagination of the story as they read through it. Or little fun things, like the annoying dog stealing the artifact.
The fact that Sans still puts up with them and protects them even after all this time is really a show of dedication. Perhaps sans is a bit more DETERMINED to keep them safe than before, or maybe he’s trying to hold onto some sense of comfort that he finds in the human. The final line really hits hard in your emotions. “…cause someone really cares for you.” Could that be sans or Toriel? Or maybe he is eluding to everyone they’ve met? We may never know.
DUDE WHAT THE HELL IS THIS MAN, THIS IS SO FRICKING GOOD WHAT I LOVE THIS, I LOVE EXPRESSIVE THE ANIMATION IS DESPITE THEM LITERALLY NOT CHANGING THEIR LITERAL EXPRESSION LIKE AT ALL. THE VOICE TOO, THIS IS SO GOOD.
I haven't played Undertale in a while and I forgot about the full dialogue, Sans is genuinely an incredible character and it makes sense why everyone loves him so much. He has a good amount of depth to him and charm. It's really cool he can tell basically everything about you, and he actually KEEPS his promise, unless he knows E V E R Y O N E is gone.
Wow! This is very much how imagined the diner scene. You guys all did a good job. I just can't believe *the* Kellen Goff was the one to voice everyone's favorite lazy bag of bones!
I can't believe how well kellen goff did sans' voice. This is the same guy that voices freddy, funtime freddy, glamrock freddy, sun and moon. He perfectly captures the feel of sans in every conceivable way. One of the best undertale fan animation I've seen in a while
Yooo this is really good, the flow and feel just feels RIGHT. The lined 3d models give this video such a unique feel. Kellen did fantastic with the Sans voice, perfectly laid back with a hint of knowing more than he lets on. Great work by all!
Oh my god this is actually perfect. You captured this moment so well. Kellen's voice acting combined with the subtle facial expressions Sans makes, his body language throughout the whole thing, and just the way he sounds so casual and genuinely fond while he's talking about Toriel... man. This is just wonderful. I am going to be obsessing over this for the next few days. Excellent work!
ngl seeing this scene animated with voice acting makes it feel like your retelling stories with an old friend. how i wish i could relive that first playthough
God, this animation shows off how mysterious Sans is. He’s great. The vocals really add depth to how much *really* knows, and doesn’t feel like telling you. You did an amazing job, seriously. One of the biggest contributions to the fandom since the game came out. Cheers.

this is beautiful......this is why we need a fully animated undertale movie...
It'd get funded within seconds, I'm absolutely sure of it! ♥️♥️
ngl i dont think undertale would work as a movie because of how strongly the story uses *video game* mechanics
@ediblepencil494 Undertale but instead with resets it's with reruns.
everytime i think about this i'm reminded of the sad fact an undertale movie wouldn't work at all because of the games narrative not fitting in a movie form at all, and the game revolving around choices while a film can only have one outcome
That'd be hard with the game mechanics being canon.
I had a friend who was a big fan of indie games, Undertale was one of them. I've always been a fan of Undertale, and Sans had a big impact on me when it came to having conversations with people who had problems with mental issues
In the date with sans the phrase "take care of yourself kid, because someone really cares about you" stuck with me, and I used it to help people who needed to hear that someone really cares about them, including me
My friend, over time, was unable to go through that stage, and although everyone can live with the memory of her, I will always associate her with this specific scene because of how similar our first encounter was.
This animation was spectacular and exceeded my expectations, I was aware of its process on Twitter and seeing it finally published is a gift, especially at this time
Thank you so much, keep creating beautiful art
Wow... I'm rooting for you man. Keep it up.
This is fucking beautiful
This made me tear up…I’m sorry for your loss 🤍
I hope you are okay, I'll send you a big hug ❤
The candlelight cutting away the lineart is a great idea and really works
Kellen was perfect cast for Sans
Ugh. WOW
During his montage of "I came back the next day... and the day after that," that first little trot up the step and excited lean-in to knock-- That's what got me 🥹
Still getting Undertale fan content in 2024
You love to see it
Have you been living in a rock? Cus' everyday theres something about undertale specially deltarune the fandom does
@@misterboxhead3045 I said STILL getting content. Where did i ever say it stopped. Also Deltarune content is not undertale content
First thing Sans said: 0:06
0:34 - So why are you monsters want to leave underground so badly Sans? 😂😂😂
Thank you so much for this masterpiece!!
the facial expressions and voice are so clearly conveyed that I can call it the best animation of undertale ❤🦴
Omg I love how his laugh is the sans text noise. Amazing voice acting
ngl i watched thousands of comic dubs, fan animations, but that's the *best* representation of sans i've ever seen so far.
I love love LOVE how emotive Sans is! It's genuinely incredible how Kellen voiced Sans!
The music picking up at 3:05 really makes that part of the conversation feel more intense
i love how sans’s smile looks forced in comparison to the other features of his face, his half-closed eyes and eyebags, its showing that hes not really happy, hes putting on a facade
@@oldsport3364 Pretty much. Sans has a perma-grin, regardless of whatever he goes through.
3:33 The look of being killed by a Vulkin in front of Sans' hotdog stand.
1:05 This sounds accurate to Sans dialogue box sound. Tell the actor he's impressed me.
I don't comment often, but the usage of the mannerism, the music and the weight of Sans's voice with every word displaying his charisma accompanied with the style of animation and Frisk's face when they realize that Sans is very, very aware of YOUR power. I'm amazed, this is art! What a fantastic transition.
As a person who has loved undertale since launch and has my sans plush in hand rn, this is amazing
HI I'M SANS
no, you're papyrus.
No, he's "Sawns"
Hello there!
So COOL
So COOL
So COOL
So COOL
So cool-
hey look, it's the guy who exposed me to an insane amount of Undertale comics years ago.
pretty cool seeing u here, appreciate the work you put into your Sans voice-overs, or basically any character you voice act in general
YOUR SO COOL
Something about this portrayal of Sans manages to strike a chord that I've never considered before...
"take care of yourself, kid... because someone really cares about you."
It's not Sans, he's talking about TORIEL.
Hint: "don't tell that to the other sans-es, ok?"
Remember, Sans just said "i'm rootin' for ya, kid." Asriel includes Sans in your roll call of friends and says "they all really love you." In fact, it's your friendship with Sans that pulls him out of being a Lost Soul. (Also fun note: Sans and Papyrus have differently-shaped attacks, and Sans doesn't attack you at all as a Lost Soul.)
A lot of Sans's actions go far beyond just fulfilling a promise, which he could have done from a distance.
And... they care about you too, Frisk." This is how he knows "they all really love you."
How did we become Sans's friend? Probably because we put up with his jokes, listened to his advice, befriended his little brother, and reset the timeline just so we could avoid killing anyone.
So we know Sans cares about us in True Pacifist. But what about before?
A lot of info comes out in the NO MERCY route, particularly directly before and after you have the option to SPARE Sans. Now compare Sans's CHECK info with what you find in the Snowdin Library books + when you TALK 3x during Asgore's fight.
As for the rest: check the Neutral Leaderless ending + Grillby's scene when you call Papyrus "uncool."

@@Aiden-wd5nfwhen did he take a picture of everyone together? is that something after the pacifist route cuz i've never heard that before
This is probably one of the most faithful recreations of anything from undertale that I’ve seen, genuinely.
This is the best Sans voice I’ve ever heard. If an Undertale show is ever made they gotta get Kellen on it.
this is probably my favorite undertale thing i've ever seen. sans' voice acting and character acting just feels exactly like how i imagined him. the low framerate animation and the art style captures a roughness that just feels so much like undertale.
this is genuinely such a perfect interpretation of this interaction, i don't think anyone's ever done a better job
Undertale hits so different when it isn't text you just breeze through cause of how fast the person may read
please never take this down it's my comfort video now😭
this might be the best fanmade piece of undertale media ever
You clearly don't know story of undertale
@@misterboxhead3045 oughh
i can't believe this is kellen.
genuinely, the man's range is so damn impressive, it's inspiring.
we need more undertale stuff like this, this is probably the best undertale fanmade thing ive seen since the release of the game, its simply beautiful
this is so cinematic, it makes me wish for an undertale animated feature film! good job!
Wow. That was amazing! I love how expressive Sans is with both the animation and the voice lines, and the animation and style here is just great. It’s extremely well done and does this scene justice. Not even kidding one of the best undertale fan works I’ve seen!
im gonna cry I loved this, best sans voice ever
Thank you for adding Japanese subtitles! Thanks to you, I was able to get completely absorbed in the animation!
you're welcome!! of course!! I really hope Japanese fans of Undertale can enjoy this too... I made sure to use the game dialogue so it feels nostalgic too 😊 feel free to share this with anyone else who also speaks Japanese, maybe they'll enjoy it too? Thank you!!
This is the best sans related animation thats voice acted ngl, its done perfectly.
This definitely needs more views, over 100,000 at the very least!
This is the best interpretation of Sans I've ever seen, probably the most accurate, too. Not to mention the voice acting??? Wow, really incredible work. The animation is also super charming and immersive 🤧
After so many years this scene still gives me the feels. You conveyed perfectly the motions and the narrative.
"its a thing now, telling bad joke through the door.
heh, it rules."
2:22 *winces away*
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!??
Where is T o r i
Nah, he has a custom line if youve killed toriel
The voice and the chuckle suits him! Not only that, you got his personality pretty cannon! I love it!
This is why I would KILL for an undertale movie, this is literally how I imagine it
It will be better as a game because the player can experience death and immerse themselves in a one time death as part of the story. Reference (3:31)
This is amazing, this perfectly captures this moment with Sans and how important to the game it was
I have to use the translator yes or yes to express what this video has done to me.
Also the first and only game to make me cry for the ending, as I get older it makes appreciate how even when the game doesn't look like the best 2024 graphics ever it's story will always be better than a large chunk of this "Throw a unfinished game out for a cash grab" generation.
....i dont understand how people do genocide man...."someone cares about you"....i just cant.
"Frisk. do you see the small vent on the floor?"
I REALLY WANT AN UNDERTALE MOVIE LIKE THIS!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!
Wow.
Dude, this is so awesome, this VA is perfect for Sans, plus the animation, ist so smooth and really well made!!!
This
This is beautiful
The voice act, body language, animation, editing...
It all comes together so well
Man I love Undertale
Words can't express how amazing and perfect this is. The animation, model, voice acting and expressions are spectacular. Kellen did a fantastic job on his voice, I think it should be the canon voice for him tbh, just like how everyone gives papyrus the skeletor voice. I'd love to see more undertale animations from you!
The characters fit their game personallity very well
That’s why the game was a hit amongst its community and people who were interested in it. It wasn’t just a game, it was one of the greatest stories ever told. Not too complex or complicated but had a perfect mix of secret lore and feels. Also the mysteries keep you guessing and wondering about the game years later. Toby is a genius
I really like the Sans model! It portrays the in-game character perfectly!
When sans says his iconic line in game, his font changes from sans comic to sans serif.
This is such an accurate representation of sans, a rare occurrence especially now days.
I just realized the voice of Sans here is Kellen Goff
Love the animation for really making that scene in undertale feel more impacful than it already is.
This is so beautiful, the character animations, the voice work, the storyboards for this must’ve been incredible.
In any case, sans’s tone is really one of gratitude and care.
It's really cool he can tell basically everything about you, and he actually KEEPS his promise, unless he knows E V E R Y O N E is gone.
hes so canon wth no stop hes too canon NOOOOOOOO
Wow! This is very much how imagined the diner scene. You guys all did a good job. I just can't believe *the* Kellen Goff was the one to voice everyone's favorite lazy bag of bones!
This deserves more attention, it's so well done!!
it's great that everyone is addressing Kellen's amazing job on Sans voice, he really deserves it💜
I can't believe how well kellen goff did sans' voice. This is the same guy that voices freddy, funtime freddy, glamrock freddy, sun and moon. He perfectly captures the feel of sans in every conceivable way. One of the best undertale fan animation I've seen in a while
This animation is astounding.
It is mindblowing just how spot on Sans' mannerisms are.
Chet's kiss animation right there. still can't believe Undertale is still alive to this day, and I'll keep rooting for it.
YOUR PROFILE PIC IS SO CUTE AAAAAA 😭
2017 me is going apeshit right now, Absolutely FANTASTIC job
Yooo this is really good, the flow and feel just feels RIGHT. The lined 3d models give this video such a unique feel. Kellen did fantastic with the Sans voice, perfectly laid back with a hint of knowing more than he lets on. Great work by all!
This video gives me a cozy comforting feeling, good job, you did it
Oh my god this is actually perfect.
Not only is this very accurate to his character, but the body language is amazing! it adds so much detail!
ngl seeing this scene animated with voice acting makes it feel like your retelling stories with an old friend. how i wish i could relive that first playthough
This is one of the best animations I’ve ever seen of undertale great work
God, this animation shows off how mysterious Sans is. He’s great. The vocals really add depth to how much *really* knows, and doesn’t feel like telling you. You did an amazing job, seriously. One of the biggest contributions to the fandom since the game came out. Cheers.
This is legit a nostalgic moment of the game and glad it’s animated
i didn't realized it was 3d at first, AMAZING!
