Big fan of Information Society and became a real fan of Kurt Harland even more when i discovered that he worked in the Soundtrack of the masterpiece Xmen² Clone Wars for the Sega Genesis.
I love he mentions Don't Be Afraid and Soul Reaver 2 as some of his favourite things in hindsight...because they are precisely my favourite things made by Kurt :D
This was so interesting! Thanks for asking great questions, Grant, and thank you Kurt, for sharing your experiences! I would love to hear that version of Heroes.
"You're not doing one of those horrible acoustic..." Kurt: "We're doing one." TBH, (not) knowing Kurt, I can't tell if he's being sincere, or if this is the classic dry wit he usually displays.
Kurt seems to be a very respectful musician or at least seems to not like when people outwardly have to project that they don't like something. If he did do an acoustic thing that's awesome.
@@hodreegoo Crystal Dynamics had some games made based on Blood Omen Legacy of Kain, it was a spin-off series called Soul Reaver, he worked on two of those and a third installment called Defiance, I'm sure he worked with plenty more projects than just that of course!

One of the most unappreciated, underrated musicians of modern times.

Time to grow up and get a big boy haircut.
No !
he seems to get triggered very easily. It's like walking on eggshells having a conversation with him. One 'wrong' word and ---'they're horrible???'
