Another great informational video...now I know how to properly clean the scarves. I was thrilled to see my favorite Hermes scarf 'Les Beaux Jours de Bonsai' in your video. I want one so bad and I do see them, but the dupe factor still holds me back. I'm also looking for 'Hommage A L'Amitie Franco-Hellenique' by Julia A Badie, but that one is a little hard to find.
Thank you, Maya, for another enjoyable video. I found the background information quite educational, and your washing routine as well. I like the Qu´importe le Flacon scarf very much. I have it in the gavroche size. I have been thinking of getting in the 90x90 size for some time now. It is one of the about five scarves I´ll get one of these days. So far the day hasn´t arrived...but perhaps soon...Enjoy your weekend, here it is going to snow tomorrow...🐩❄🌡
Thank you so much for sharing your intake process! In fact I'm running upstairs to get my most recent used find to prepare it right after I watch your video. I've recently been considering the best way to track my collection so I have an inventory of sizes, names, and artists. Do you keep some type of spreadsheet or record? I do keep all of my labels and basic facts in individual 2x2 cards but think a running list would be handy to easily see artists, etc. What do you think?
Good question! I’m a bit of a nerd, so I track my scarves in an Excel spreadsheet: scarf title, size, artist, where/when I acquired it, predominant colors and any other unique aspects. That may not work for everyone, but it definitely suits me. Hope that helps and thanks for your comments, Barbette!
I love perfume, so this scarf, in pink, was one of my first Hermes scarves. Since I bought it years ago on eBay, I wasn’t sure of its authenticity. Today I weighed it on my postal scale and was relieved that it was exactly the same as yours. Phew! BTW, do you own any of the printed enamel bangles based on scarf designs? I have several but prefer wearing the scarves. (Have the perfume bottle design in pale green/silver metal.)
Love the education you provide about the artist and subject of the scarf. Craftsmanship is why items are worth the price.
So true, Crystal, thanks for your comments!
Thank you for the priceless information on how to care for my precious Hermes Scarves.
So glad you found it helpful, thanks for your comments!

Oh yes, Catherine Baschet and Julia Abadie both have some lovely designs out there. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Learned a lot and was fascinated to learn about the many foundational contributions of my ancient ancestral lands to perfumes and glass-making!
It is quite fascinating, isn’t it? Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Very interesting! Enjoy your new scarf.
Thank you!

So glad you enjoyed the video, Suvi! It is quite a lovely design. Wishing you a good weekend as well and enjoy the snow ❄️

What a relief! Sounds like a sweet colorway 💗 I’m not much of a bangle parson myself, but I do think they’re pretty!
Thank you for showing that you actually can wash an Hermès scarf! Does the age of the scarf make a difference in how colorfast it is?
Great question, Marlena! Not that I’m aware of, but it never hurts to test for colorfastness using a damp, clean white cloth.
Do you mind sharing where and how I can find pre-loved Hermes bags and scarves?
Almost anywhere, these days with the internet! Just have to be careful and make sure you know what you’re buying. Too many dupes out there!
What is the name of the scarf you wear in this animation?
On the avatar, right? That’s a 140 GM cashmere shawl called Patchwork Horse by Nigel Peake.
@@cranleyplace thank you!!
