I have a hercules 500 and I can not do this for the life of me. Baby scratch not problem, push forward pull back. When I try chirping or using the crossfader I can not get the sound that you just showed. What am i doing wrong or not doing?
I found that when i release the wheel , it starts to jiggling a little before it fully stops, hence hard to get timing right. Is there any tips for this?
The FLX4 doesn't have motorised platters, when the DJ isn't touching the platter they don't move. The sound will continue to play as any piece of audio will when playing on the DJ software. The DJ is bringing the sound back to the start using the platter.
Im still trynna get past beginner. Scratching is just such a good way to play with sets. And damn cool too
I love this video. 3 levels. Proves it's the DJ not the equipment!!! You killed it!!!
Need to start. Been talking about learning to scratch for long enough. This is awesome. Thank you. 🙌

How do you change the crossfader mode on this unit so you can do scratching with the crossfader?
he isnt scratching with the crossfader hes just using it to cut it to make it sound like a chirp
