Live your dream! I have always wanted a cabin in the woods...with a beautiful perennial garden and my garden to grow my food. My chickens are important and my critters. But to be out in the country and not have to listen to traffic. When I was young we would sit out on our porch and 7 cars was a lot. Now every 7 minutes we get several at a time. They use our road as a race way. Now more than ever I want out in the country.
Anson I always figured if we all waited until we could afford to do something we would never get it done. I think you went about it the right way. It might be a slow grow but it is a grow and you are living the life you wanted. God Bless from your Canadian Friend
Dear Anson, Thank you for being such a big hearted guy, saw you on Dogmans's channel with the bikes, and waiting for Gary and Mary's video where you are providing your expertise with their electric pole. Gary really needed your help in a desperate way, and you stepped up. God Bless your heart, and thank you. Sometime people like you and him, may be broke, but you gotta have a roof over your head and this is the way to do it. They don't have any extra income, we all need help and friends to make it in life. I won't forget you, down the road I'll send you something. Good for the roof shingles. xoxoxoxox from Fort Myers.
Anson you guys have done awesome and just think someday you look back and say "wow we did this "and enjoy all the great memories you all are creating now. GOD BLESS.
Just throwing this out there. I'm 73yo and after 3 different careers, im living in an RV that im remodling into my final living space. Putting solar panels and adequate battery bank. I've got more than enough SS to cover my living expenses and dont have any bills or financed items. My problem is I don't have a good place to set up my RV and outfit my yard to suit my retirement needs. Like a zen garden and smokeless fire pit It's too late to buy a place... so I'm looking for a longterm lease. I also have a lot of fabrication tools accumulated from the hvac and DoD contracting careers(46yrs total) Id be interested in co-oping into a shop. And have tools that would be helpful. Tig, flux core mig, plasma cutter, beverly shear small planishing hammer, bead edge roller, i also have a good selection of ryobi tools. My aviation tool box is about 1000lbs. I would be willing to use my trouble shooting skills on your stuff too. Talk it over with your clan and run this by the bosslady. Id just need space off to tha side of your stuff, so i could do my own thing. Right now im in a RV park that wont let me work on my vehicles or my rv remodel. I'm paying $400 here so that is already budgeted . My projects are a '65 Ford Fairlane500, my one owner '73 Shovelhead and my ex-Uhaul 14ft box truck E350... The Fairlane500 runs great and is in need of some frontend work and an electric assist power steering steering column...I had almost all the mechanical stuff done and a tree fell across the drivers rear corner. Broke my heart. The Harley needs a tranny rebuild and a fresh paintjob. Its my only evidence I can maintain a lasting relationship...haha. I vended DooRags after aviation career ended when DoD stopped hiring contractors. I still have alot of stock that id be willing to try to revive that business. Let me know what you guys think...ill send you an email if you have one in here, with my contact info...I found it.... OH... I also have 3 rescue cats that are currently indoor, but were raised around a family of raccoons. I had a 4yr. relationship with a troupe of raccoons (and an adapted possum) that were very friendly, that would take dog treats from my hand. G BUD
Build something NOW mr! Or I am unsubbing! Just keep doing what you are doing. If your channel grows on its own without mooching subs from those bigger channels, that's much better.
