If I was going to spend $50,000.00US, I would buy an Escape 17ft travel trailer, all fibreglass construction, more personalization possibilities, more features and less money for a better built unit!
It looks real cozy and very well shaped for travel on the road. If it was just me, it would be plenty of space but not enough for the two of us at this age. It’s very well layed out for storage and looks like it was built with good quality. Thanks for sharing.
I guessed $49K so I was pretty impressed with myself. As for that price, I think it's a bit insane, but in 2022 nothing surprises me any more and at least it seems to be well thought out.
I had one of these ordered and eventually bought a Class B but they are very nice and extremely well built. Higher quality than vast majority of TT's you see out there.
I love this trailer. Been looking at it for a long time. If I knew for sure that I could pull it with my existing vehicle comfortably, Jeep GC 6200# tow capacity, and HD engine cooling, I’d get one! It is pricey but quality seems excellent, it has everything you need.
Love it.❤❤❤. Great little lightweight trailer for newbies and weekend campers who don't want to tow a big rig. Well thought out, and nice esthetic interior.
I think it’s great. I really do. But for $50,000+ it just doesn’t make sense for me, and I would venture to guess, most others as well. That said, this brand is going after the Airstream crowd I imagine, and they have been around a while now, so someone must feel it’s worth it.
Love the NuCamp Teardrop. Went back and forth between the Teardrop and A Nova Campervan. So many advantages to each. We decided we both did not want to deal with towing and extra expense of storing it away from our home.
I’ve never liked teardrops, bec the traditional models are just too darn small. But this model is like a teardrop on steroids…I really like this design, and all the features it has to offer! 👍🏼🖖🏼
I like most of the features with this trailer. I don't like the small holding tanks for grey and black water. Our R-Pod has 30 gallons grey, 30 gallons black and 36 gallons fresh water.
I have this T@B. I LOVE it! There are some really great new features from our old 2018 one. No we didn’t pay 50k. Not sure because we had a trade in but I think low 40s minus trade
Easy to compare this with a Bigfoot TT in size and quality. I like the Tab having the AC in a cabinet rather than on the roof, and the on demand water heater. I’m used to larger tanks. Does the Tab have a rubber roof?
Although I agree with the price comments I’m still (maybe foolishly) considering this seriously. It suits me better than anything else in this size and weight that I can find. The Intechs and new Grand Design Aims and Geo Pro are being considered too. Getting closer to 40k for me to purchase seems within reason. Would buy used but the changes to the 23s seem worthwhile to me.
Hi guys! This is a camper that is known in Europe as well, but under a different brand. They are known for their high quality and with that comes the price. I like the aero body, but always wondered if it would have been even better to flip it 180 degrees.
Hubs and I went to a camper lot today and looked at some brand new Nucamp tab 400's. Asking price was around $41,000. We loved it, but dayaaam, the off-gassing inside made my eyes burn. Don't know if it would eventually clear out or not.
The price is pretty steep. But it does look cool though. And it’s pretty spacious inside too. Although I probably wouldn’t recommend more than a couple. Two grownups and two kids seem pretty cramped up
Almost every comment I read addressed the price. Which is fair. I just don’t want to deal with towing, backing it in, unhooking it bad weather, etc. Love my class b. Hate paying to have to park it when not in use, but I love the Van and will pay to keep it.
When they first released this model about 8 yrs ago, base price was $28,995.00. All campers have gone up exponentially since Covid. Seems like all Lance RVS went up by $20K. Hopeful prices settle back down in a year or two. Gotta Vote with your wallets! For now I say No.
Lots of comments on the price of these units and I agree things are just getting crazy. Bottom line…..prices will continue to escalate as long as folks are willing to pay. Only when people stop buying will this nonsense end. When we participate in these markets we feed the monster of inflation, these are not necessities like food and housing, personally I’ll begin shopping in earnest when the recession settles in and the craziness is over. This is not sustainable!
These are very cute and well designed but you are giving up a lot of functionality for that style. Something like a jayfeather micro or a rockwood geo pro isn't that much larger or heavier and you get things like a full size rv fridge and a dry bath along with more storage and especially in the jayco's case much larger holding tanks. You had better really need that 500 to 1000 pound lower dry weight because the jayco carries more fresh water alone than the tab's entire holding tank capacity.
Hell no. Anybody is crazy buying at new RV at that price. It's such a rip off and a scam. This is from a person who has lived a fifth wheel fulltime for a few years now. They are built really cheap. They are not up to code like a normal house.
For 50k why not just jump to an airstream? It looks nice and looks of good quality but even if I had endless money I don’t think I still could justify it. Hopefully they have good profit margin on it because don’t imagine they sell many. Again they look very nice though.
The more I look into the 400 model, the more I really dislike the bunk bed feature. They don’t look sturdy or comfortable. I can’t imagine anyone being able to sleep comfortably in the bunks. This should’ve been thought out more. I think it is wasted space and added weight for something that doesn’t look functional or practical. A regular bed, perhaps but the bunks, NO! I would never trust it enough to put a child up there. They ruined the design in my opinion. I’ll have to pass on this.
I just can’t wrap my head around paying 50000 plus for these. But they do look nice.
I agree the price is a little much.
I agree
Yes, it is a bit high.. However, the layouts are nice...
Feel the same way. #vanlife has created a subculture where prices on all trailers, vans, campers, etc. have skyrocketed.
If people stopped buying them the price would decrese. 50k plus t/l/fees plus add on's for this is crazy. I will keep my truck micro camper.
I loved your video walk-through but the price brought teardrops to my eyes!
Lol it is pricey
Looks and cool factor insane! Price insane!
If I was going to spend $50,000.00US, I would buy an Escape 17ft travel trailer, all fibreglass construction, more personalization possibilities, more features and less money for a better built unit!
Have you looked at the Cortes travel trailer? They're a small fiberglass I think an amazing layout
It looks real cozy and very well shaped for travel on the road. If it was just me, it would be plenty of space but not enough for the two of us at this age. It’s very well layed out for storage and looks like it was built with good quality. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Barbra
I guessed $49K so I was pretty impressed with myself. As for that price, I think it's a bit insane, but in 2022 nothing surprises me any more and at least it seems to be well thought out.
Good guess!
I had one of these ordered and eventually bought a Class B but they are very nice and extremely well built. Higher quality than vast majority of TT's you see out there.
50k yikes! there proud of it.
I would like to see the TAB 400 with a cassette toilet, larger fresh water/grey water tanks and a bigger fridge. Then it would be perfect.
Totally agree!!!
I love this trailer. Been looking at it for a long time. If I knew for sure that I could pull it with my existing vehicle comfortably, Jeep GC 6200# tow capacity, and HD engine cooling, I’d get one! It is pricey but quality seems excellent, it has everything you need.
Your Jeep has more than enough towing capacity for this small trailer.
Love this camper. It has my favorite layout. I wish I could afford it.
Great video! That would be a great camper for an across the US trip.
Love it.❤❤❤. Great little lightweight trailer for newbies and weekend campers who don't want to tow a big rig. Well thought out, and nice esthetic interior.
Appreciate the thorough tour. 😉
Thanks for watching
I think it’s great. I really do. But for $50,000+ it just doesn’t make sense for me, and I would venture to guess, most others as well. That said, this brand is going after the Airstream crowd I imagine, and they have been around a while now, so someone must feel it’s worth it.
Assuming that the bathroom is a wet bath, how do you protect the electrical outlets that you pointed out?
Loved seeing the tour so thanks. I think it's a bit over priced though.
You’re welcome Bonnie
Love the NuCamp Teardrop. Went back and forth between the Teardrop and A Nova Campervan. So many advantages to each. We decided we both did not want to deal with towing and extra expense of storing it away from our home.
Makes sense
Thank you for another awesome video guys
It’s been a while
Top notch quality and customer service!!!
A decent camper; however, the price seems a bit much. For that price, I think I would have to check out the Airstream Basecamp.
I’ve never liked teardrops, bec the traditional models are just too darn small. But this model is like a teardrop on steroids…I really like this design, and all the features it has to offer! 👍🏼🖖🏼
Love the bathroom and the galley 😍
What's the interior height on the shower? I'm 6'2 can I get in there? Also is the camper four season? Thank you!
Thanks for sharing this, interesting trailer.
Glad you enjoyed it
I like most of the features with this trailer. I don't like the small holding tanks for grey and black water. Our R-Pod has 30 gallons grey, 30 gallons black and 36 gallons fresh water.
Is it all fiberglass construction or is there wood?
I love T@B 400, do you deliver international ?
I have this T@B. I LOVE it! There are some really great new features from our old 2018 one. No we didn’t pay 50k. Not sure because we had a trade in but I think low 40s minus trade
Yeah the MSRP is typically about 20% higher than the actual sales price
Really like NuCamp but did you say $50k? I just bought a 41' 5th wheel for $70k (2022). Good gravy.
Well remember that’s the MSRP. I’m sure the sticker on your 5th wheel wasn’t 70
@@Weretherussos That’s true, apples to apples. So maybe $40k or slightly less.
Very nice camper. However, the price seems a little on the pricy side for the size.
Fair but also keep in mind this is the MSRP and you can negotiate the price with a dealer
Easy to compare this with a Bigfoot TT in size and quality.
I like the Tab having the AC in a cabinet rather than on the roof, and the on demand water heater.
I’m used to larger tanks.
Does the Tab have a rubber roof?
Beautiful well done lay out. I was wondering if cabinets are particleboard or plywood? Other then that the price is a bit steep for me 😟
I don’t know - you’d have to ask them or a dealer.
I’ll stick with my 2021 Tab 400🥰. I like the fold down bathroom sink.
For that much money you can get the tank which is really an off-road trailer you can take anywhere
Too bad they didn't put a bigger fridge in place of the big drawer.
Where is the battery located?
Nice set up.
Hi I wish the bathroom full cover with fibreglass better than wood because with the times wood will damaged. Thanks 🙏 keep it up 👍
Nice rig. Price is more than I would prefer for a teardrop. But on the nicer side
Is this a good camper for my wife and I to travel the country in our 60's
Crazy price.
$30,000 tops and that’s being generous.
50G's? No bueno.
50k for that sucks
Dang just a single 100ah battery. Cool rig tho!
Hi guys! This is a camper that is known in Europe as well, but under a different brand. They are known for their high quality and with that comes the price. I like the aero body, but always wondered if it would have been even better to flip it 180 degrees.
The problem with flipping it is that you want the weight bias up front on the hitch when driving
super wonderful but the price is questionable!
Hubs and I went to a camper lot today and looked at some brand new Nucamp tab 400's. Asking price was around $41,000. We loved it, but dayaaam, the off-gassing inside made my eyes burn. Don't know if it would eventually clear out or not.
It will. Pretty standard with RVs. It’s all the plywood and glues. Try to get about 20-30% off asking.
Super helpful!!
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice 👌
Nice but 50k ?
The price is pretty steep. But it does look cool though. And it’s pretty spacious inside too. Although I probably wouldn’t recommend more than a couple. Two grownups and two kids seem pretty cramped up
It’s nice but I prefer the Little Guy Max. Similar but more storage & bigger refrigerator.
I like the small features but I really need or would prefer a dry bath
Unfortunately at this size you won’t find a dry bath. You have to go with the longer trailers
Almost every comment I read addressed the price. Which is fair. I just don’t want to deal with towing, backing it in, unhooking it bad weather, etc. Love my class b. Hate paying to have to park it when not in use, but I love the Van and will pay to keep it.
That all makes sense

Prices on raw materials, appliances, labor and shipping have gone up exponentially since Covid as well.
@@Weretherussos agree with you on all accounts. Wish wages went up at that rate as well;-)
Lots of comments on the price of these units and I agree things are just getting crazy. Bottom line…..prices will continue to escalate as long as folks are willing to pay. I am calculating how many of my books I would need to sell to purchase this or a 360😅
50k. No thanks. I’ll buy a piece of land and a shed for less money.
Absolutely no way these tiny campers are worth $50,000....I was thinking maybe 7-10 grand..$50,000? No way...
While it IS nice, for 5-8 grand less I think I prefer the Little guy max, mainly because it is all this plus a tall clothes closet and a pantry!
I had a T@B. They are nice but not even close to $50,000 nice.
Did I just see the Russo's pull out of an I-15 rest area in California? (Sorry for the off topic).
That wasn’t us sorry - we’re on the east coast.
No way would I pay that much.
Those tires look so small
These are very cute and well designed but you are giving up a lot of functionality for that style. Yes but you also need a significantly larger vehicle to tow it, especially when carrying a full load of water
I want one, beats a mortgage 🤔
$50k+ insane
Wow 50k!
Ridiculous price.
Liked everything but the price.
Dont need bunkbeds .So with that and the 50 grand for the price I will pass .Beautiful trailer but 2 SPENDY
I can’t justify the price.
50k !!!!!! Are you nuts
Power outlet in the shower. And those shelves would collect water.
Yes, I was noticing that & wondering if the shower curtain pulled all the way around to block water 💧 from reaching cubbies & electric outlet 🔌⚡️
Shower curtain protects all those areas from any water.
That's a lot of hotel stays with breakfasts, I don't get it
Too expensive
Surprise to see so much to get wet in shower…cubbies, window shades,etc..
There is a wrap around shower curtain that protects those areas from water.
I’d love to own one but there’s no way on this planet I’d pay anything over 15k so I guess I won’t ever own one.
Nice trailer, $50,000 is a little to much for that small of a camper!
$50.000 😮 this RV builder lost there freaking mind .
👍👍
😊😊😍😍
Hell no. Anybody is crazy buying at new RV at that price. It's such a rip off and a scam. This is from a person who has lived a fifth wheel fulltime for a few years now. They are built really cheap. They are not up to code like a normal house.

Hopefully they have good profit margin on it because don’t imagine they sell many.
Again they look very nice though.
Well these typically sell for about 20-30% off the retail price
Who can seriously afford this crap! I could find a dozen better uses for $50,000 than this. 😮
I like it. However, I'm not a fan of the price. 50 grand too much.
Not worth 50,000.
All that and no awning…
Too much
Waaaayyyyu to much for that! Seriously NuCamp?.12 gallon tank on my a 18 foot frame?
Did you seriously say $50K? There is NO appeal to paying that when you can get something with way more area/storage/extra's for less.
50 grand!!!🤣🤣🤣
50K for a camper that would be fully priced at 18K what a bargain.
Over priced. Credit given for the light and bright interior but I would rather go for a Little Guy unit.
50000? No one’s gona buy this
Not for 50,000 dollars
The more I look into the 400 model, the more I really dislike the bunk bed feature. They don’t look sturdy or comfortable. I can’t imagine anyone being able to sleep comfortably in the bunks. $50,000 is a bit insane. I'm out.
Hard pass at that price.
NOW THERES A RIDICULOUS PRICE.
