LOL! Welcome to NYC. The subway part was so true. You can also buy a basket/push cart to take with you for grocery shopping. They usually sell them in the discount stores and in some grocery stores.

Love that you said " God said uh uh I have other plans for you my child". I'm from Virginia shout out DMV ! Lived in Arkansas for 5 years now and feel Ive been called to New York .. I told myself I'd turn 25 in New York and thats what I'm sticking too. Of course I'm scared and nervous but if you can make it in L ittle Rock you can make it Anywhere !

I think like most people who have lived in a place most of their lives you tend to not see the beauty as outsiders. I've visited NYC and would love to move there because I see similar good things like Annisa has mentioned. I see more good than bad with there being so many opportunities events in NYC.

Top Tips before moving to NYC1. Forget the whole idea of moving to NYC 2. Find some other place to live and work3. After about 2 to 3 days of visiting, return home.4. Save money and aggravation, and find somewhere else to build a life.5. Forget about the idea of NYC.6. Distract yourself from thinking about moving to NYC.7. Get ready to be Miserable if you disregard steps 1- 6.
Curious minds want to know. What happened for you to feel this way about NYC?
NYC is a hell. It is so hard to get things done, and get problems that arise, completed and squared away . It is very expensive. It is unfriendly. There is division among racial and ethnic groups like you wouldn't believe. It is a place you aspire AWAY from.
