Its time for Republicans to start defunding these federal bureaucracies. The EPA needs to be defunded and dismantled completely, along with DHS, ATF, DOE, etc.

Both parties keep playing us they need to be told to cut it the fuck out. These days there's only a handful of things I'm regular upset with the Republican Party what does acting confused and being unwilling to propose very simple Solutions probably is the worst.

I'm not trying to attack you cuz you're absolutely right but the fact of the matter is that Authority is practically being handed out like candy. Clever questions after saying that one is confused combined with a metaphorical suspender snap is a fancy way of saying hey walk all over us

It is a real shame that these so-called educated individuals have such a poor grasp of the English language and can't understand the meaning of simple words without having to consult with their word-salad colleagues to manufacture new and more convenient meanings

Ricketts argument about the definition of navigable waters would have been better served if he had appealed to the definition of the term that Congress had when they formed the legislation.

He's a liar about the RFS Rule. Summary: On December 7, 2021, EPA proposed to deny more than 60 pending small refinery exemption (SRE) petitions from small refineries seeking exemption from the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program for one or more compliance years between 2016 and 2021. The proposed decision results from EPA’s review of the pending SRE petitions and supporting information, its legal, technical, and policy analysis of the CAA provisions relating to small refineries, and its application of the holdings of the U.S Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in Renewable Fuels Association et al. v. EPA (RFA).

In other words, Congress needs to, and should, pass a law even more than the original charter congress passed in creating the EPA to reign in their authority and power, as with all other federal agencies with regard to the statutory authority granted in said charters.
"Statutory authority refers to the powers and duties assigned to a government official or agency through a law passed by Congress or a state legislature. It is also known as a statutory grant of authority. At the federal level, Congress creates and authorizes agencies to administer government programs and enforce the law. Through statutory grants of authority from Congress, departments and agencies of the federal government obtain the authority to issue legally binding rules and resolve disputes through adjudication".
Each agency of the Executive Branch is granted this statutory authority to promulgate rules and regulations which carry the force of law allowing such so-called experts in these fields this authority which would otherwise be reserved to Congress according to Article I of the US Constitution.
Congress is allowed to delegate such authority to such agencies to do this and create these rules and regulations that carry the force of law as if passed by Congress. However, with these agencies and officials "not having their duty before them" they will expand their power until Congress reigns them in by passing laws limiting their authority do make these rules and regulations.
