As an retired locksmith I have done hundreds of door panel removal. Your descriptions are great. 1st time on this model. I like how you said "if they're still there" about the push pin and screws lol.
My window is possesed and loves to roll down on its own and then keep trying to roll down. Looked this up to try and get in there and see if somethings loose or just shorting out. Also great shots,super straight forward
Thank you for the video, I bought a 99 GT in December and it's still in the garage with a laundry list of little gremlin's to fix. One of them being the drivers interior door handle being very loose and pulling the whole interior panel with it. When I got it off I realized that they didn't put two of the screws back in and in turn that busted the metal support loose from the panel. Have some JB Weld ready for when I find my vise grips to hold it together. Also my door panel has a silver piece above the handle and that's peeling off too, going to epoxy it back on and paint it. $25 in misc items is going to save me the $500 they want on ebay and/or the hassle of finding a panel at a junk yard that'll match.

Might need to do this as a winter project when it cools off. I just replaced my passenger mirror and dropped one of the 3 nuts to parts unknown. I then dropped one of the plastic covers the new mirror came with as I was installing it as an acting bolt for that missing one. Now both are down in the door somewhere. At least that mirror is tight with just 2 bolts and that cap.
*** For anyone that is attempting to do this on an older vehicle in hot summer climates make sure and use a heat gun, because glue melts from the Tweeter cover and bonds with the plastic. If not you will break it, found that out firsthand... ***
Somehow my door ajar switch and the window control circuits are crossed up in my door. The window buttons now control the dome light and door ajar dinger. Somethings going on... now to pry this door panel off
Can you guys sell the back door panel and not the insert. MANY people like my self would but dash and door panels that are black, a lot of people want to swap from tan to black

Hey Brendan! I just wanted to touch base with you as your comment was on Friday. Were you able to find the door wiring harness connection inside of the kick panel? -Landan
This can be hard if you have never replaced one of these before. If you have a friend that can lend a hand with aligning the rod while you stab the panel into place, this normally helps out. An extra set of hands will go a long way on this.

Hello. At 1:16 you indicate the place where a second screw should be remove. Behind the panel there is white plastic spacer for this screw. Mine spacer was probably broken by someone who did not know how to open this panel. where can I purchase this spacer. I have a photo of this spacer, if you want to see it , give me your email address.

Set the door panel hooks into the lower provisions on the door frame. Roll it forward and feed the door lock knob into the opening. Seat the door panel into the inner door belt weather strip. Reinstall the door cup. Attached the switch assembly to the door panel insert. Reposition the insert. Reinstall any hardware that was removed. If equipped, reinstall the tweeter.

A heater core replacement is on the list which involves removing the dash. No guarantee on a time, though. -Landan

Can't get the door back on for the life of me.. how do I get the lock pin back in door well lining everything else up with it.

Reposition the insert.
Reinstall any hardware that was removed.
If equipped, reinstall the tweeter.
Pull down on the handle cup then remove..if only it was that damn simple..
