I'm glad I could help! I only know myself because mine got so much raspberry seeds stuck in it that it stopped closing properly so I had no choice but take it apart 😅 Also now I only tighten by hand, it seals just fine and it's super easy to take apart again when cleaning.
What yeasts have you been trying altogether Martin mate? Ive got Bond that im yet to try im looking to find just one yeast strain that can do every beer style from Lager brews all the way to a Stout and all the Pale and Ipa in between. I know of a brewery that just used Notty at different temps to do just that what is your experience?
I've pretty much stocked up on the WHC collection, Saturate, Pineapple Passion, Einstein etc and same with the Niche branded ones. I'm also getting to be fond of the Lallermand stuff - especially the Nova Lager. A general all-rounder could possibly be the Lallermand Nottingham? I'm still experimenting so wouldn't want to give the impression that I know what I'm doing!
@@MadeByMartyn Thanks for that Martyn I already know Nottingham is the safest bet, although Einstein can work for sure in everything warm as well. Have you tried AEB yeasts? On Geterbrewed 😄

Top tip mate, and little things like that always make me feel happier knowing they really are clean :-)
Looking good mate
I'm only just now starting to feel a degree of confidence.
Didn't that ferment kick off with and bang.
Finished in 3 days!
WHC Bond.
