I love THE PRICE IS RIGHT sometimes as a kid I would play sick to stay home and watch it doing that sometimes it worked then a week or 2 later I really did end up sick waiting until spring break or summer vacation was way too long still watch the show to this very day.
My grandparents absolutely loved this show. Every weekday during the summer that I stayed with them we would watch it. I can't tell you how much I miss them.

When I was pre school my dad worked in a factory and my mom worked nights as a nurse. After my mom would give me breakfast she’d go to sleep. I would watch tv shows all Morning I can’t remember of them as some changed over the years but the Price Is Right was my go to at 11 am. I knew that right after that I had to eat lunch that my mom pre made for me. I would try to guess how much stuff costed but had no clue since I was 4. I used to think those contestants were so smart. God I loved those days
I remember staying home from workshop one day just so I could watch TPIR; it was day 4 of Socially Awesome Week: Throwback Thursday. The crew went back to 1983 (the year I was born). The show didn't have a male model back in '83. Bargain Game was known as Barker's Bargain Bar. Spinning $1.00 on your bonus spin at the Big Wheel got you $10,000. The crew even did some searching and found the show's music from 1983 (who knows what you might find in the back of the storage vault).

I play this in my classroom when I pass out tests.
