Headlight Guard Installation Yamaha Super Tenere “Does it fit as advertised”

Installing a headlight guard on the Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z. Looked at a couple options and I was sent this guard to and will give it an honest unbiased review. The guard arrived bent correctly and included all the hardware needed. Install was very simple and did not require any special tool. It required a 5mm & 3mm Allen key, 15mm socket & ratchet. I added the use of blue low strength thread locker to mitigate the potential of it loosening over time. The standoffs and inner mounts are made of aluminum and the exterior screws are stainless steel. Overall it when together simply and fit exactly as it should. I will report back with updates in the future.

That does look like a useful protective product. I have thought about one similar for my KTM. Easy install..

Look much more rugged, i have the clear one on mine and it looks good, but just dust obscures the light output like an opaque shield. That seems like a much better option..

I was thinking that would be an issue with the clear lens guards. Thank you for the input.
