- We at Shaw Concepts took a look at the standard two piece style belts on the market and as usual thought that there must be a better way. Belts on the market haven't changed much and haven't offered end users much other than weight reduction and they certainly haven't improved comfort, ergonomics or features so we had to step in.
The Usurper Belt System is our take on a two part Pistol Belt setup where instead of an inner belt made cheaply of wide thick Scuba webbing we've developed a foam lined, soft loop Velcro stand alone belt that is perfectly suited as a uniform belt and the firm foundation of a Pistol Belt. The outer belt is where the UBS gets wilder, with built in Angled Molle Columns for a set of canted pistol magazine pouches, half inch Molle slots for better pouch mounting, built in carabiner attachment point, adaptable holster width for better lock up, adjustable fitment, suspender loops for loads that would cause the belt to sag and a Tegris Skeleton for better load bearing.

They are certainly one of the companies to pioneer that method alongside S&S Precision and we believe both of them were onto something with that interface method
Norden has or (had the) Darkside belts. Very different execution but at least to me it's a similar concept.

i like the outer belt and inner belt interface design. I can cinch down my inner belt as much as I want, but my outer belt always crumples it up when buckling over the inner belt if I want it tight against my waistline to minimize play in the belt. This looks like it will avoid that issue and mesh much better between the two!

They did a great job and make great belts. Them and S&S had the right idea with the connection method between the two belts and we believe our other features that make up the belts cause them to stand out significantly well.

My blue alpha belt is having the same long-term issues your belt seems to address,.your plate carriers and bags look very interesting as well. Hopefully you guys do well, I'm for sure checking your stuff out

It was only a matter of time someone else did a belt like it, hope they don’t get overshadowed
We've spoken with them prior to this and they and S&S Precision had the right idea with the GHook integration so we saw that as a solid base to build a belt with our unique features instead of join all the others copying the Ronin style belts.
We don't believe our offering will do that as their Mk4 Outer Belt is very unique and may meet some preferences our belt doesn't cater too.

I just watched EODFish's video on this. He said the inner belt might be "too warm" lol. safe to say it's not worth watching his opinion.

If I were trying to find groups or people with similar interests what would be best way to doing this as tactical run gun ranges aren’t easily accessible to where i am. Definitely want to get more into this but it would be nice to have a friend to discuss and train with potentially.
What are those suspenders you use?
Any idea on the comparability with the Alien Gear Rapid Duty Holster? I’ve found that recently I’ve become more fond of my RDH than my Safariland.

what purpose do the vertical slots on the front portion of the belt serve? most molle style connections prefer a horizontal layout so I'm wondering what the idea here is?
The vertical slots are for retaining that adjustment strap neatly out of the way of the holster and sidearm.
@@shawconceptsllc.8797 I see. I was kinda stoked to see the shoulder harness compatibility, and the potential of this as an LBE type of setup, but that front portion kinda kills the versatility of it for the adjustment strap.
What duty gloves are those that are shown on the belt?
Are these going to be available for international order? I know a lot of guys down here in NZ that will be dead keen
How can you switch the outer belt for lefties? It’s a bit of a different story than the inner belt example you gave
The outer belts are right or left hand only so they are side specific.

Its a very slime belt so size isn't an issue. In terms of hot spots it depends person to person but since its not rigid webbing and instead padded soft loop velcro it will be better off!

@@shawconceptsllc.8797 the sneak peek has me intrigued. I think I'll wait until your suspenders are revealed. Might be a good upgrade to the included elastic suspenders on the Defense Mechanisms insulated pants. Overkill? Absolutely. But cool as hell.

Wait, you recommend people wear the inner belt with a certain orientation, but then tell lefties to reverse it? Are lefties just SOL in that regard?

Yes, its more of a 'nice to have' than a 'need to have'. Lefties will still enjoy the comfort and the rest of the features but the orientation will expose the open edge a tad more for them. Now they don't have to do this necessarily depending on their waist size.
