  • Private local guides are not allowed to accompany visitors in the tombs. Don't know why... In this video, I'll be your private guide for this important tomb of the Valley of the Kings. ⚠️ The tour lasts 40 minutes...

    Renaming the titles might get you more views. They are way to elaborate. It might throw people off.

    -----------------------------------------
    tomb of thutmose III, KV34.❓
    KV20 is a tomb in the Valley of the Kings (Egypt). It was probably the first royal tomb to be constructed in the valley. KV20 was the original burial place of Thutmose I (who was later re-interred in KV38) and later was adapted by his daughter Hatshepsut to accommodate her and her father. The tomb was known to Napoleon Bonaparte's expedition in 1799.
    Tomb KV42 (Kings Valley 42) is an ancient Egyptian tomb located in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. It was constructed for Hatshepsut-Meryetre, the wife of Thutmose III, but...
    Dream Stele of Thutmose IV (grandson of thutmose III).
    Cleopatra's Needles are a separated pair of ancient Egyptian obelisks now in London and New York City. The obelisks were originally made in Heliopolis (modern Cairo, 'City of the Sun', 'the Pillars') during the New Kingdom period, inscribed by the 18th dynasty pharaoh Thutmose III and 19th dynasty pharaoh Ramesses II. They were later moved to the Caesareum of Alexandria, which had been conceived by Ptolemaic Queen Cleopatra VII, for whom the obelisks are named.
    The Ptolemaic Kingdom or Ptolemaic Empire was an Ancient Greek state based in Egypt during the Hellenistic period. It was founded in 305 BC by the Macedonian general Ptolemy I Soter, a companion of Alexander the Great, and ruled by the Ptolemaic dynasty until the death of Cleopatra VII in 30 BC. Reigning for nearly three centuries, the Ptolemies were the longest and final dynasty of ancient Egypt.

    Excellent video and explanation. Thanks.
    What I find hard to believe is that a civilisation that built such wonderful structures and left extensive documentation on its walls just disappeared after the 10th century AD. I think salehdin was the last of the pharaoh’s.
    I mean, they were around for 5000 or more years. So there must have been millions of descendants. Where did they all go?

    • @bibia666
      @bibia666 10 місяців тому +1

      The descendents of dynastic Egypt (qmt/kemmet) are there now in modern Egypt..
      Atleast that's what (most)experts tell us.

    Another thing - they did such extensive preparations for the afterlife.
    What if they actually succeeded in their goals? Maybe pharaohs are still amongst us.

    Why is the last part of the tomb off limits? Too dangerous?

    • @VoyagewithMoune
      @VoyagewithMoune  2 роки тому +1

      As it's said in my video, "the last part of the tomb is almost completely destroyed, and public visiting is not allowed", (as you can see on the photo at 37:37.)
