My name is Steve but I like to be called random, I live in Manchester I have two beautiful girls which mean the world to me but like many fathers in this world there are humans which will stop a loving father seeing their own children. I work full time as a bus driver somewhere in Manchester.
I'm a strong believer in mental health, especially men to encourage people to talk about their problems and issues and hopefully to save lives,what keeps me going and gives me hope and strength is my beautiful fiance, my two dogs and my family and my lifesaver this channel.
Like many small creators around the world this is a non-profitable and this is purely a hobby, any revenue what I receive is plusted back into the channel so people all around the world the country can enjoy it.

Absolutely love your channel, originally from Coventry lived in Australia for 18 years just visited home for 3 months and Blackpool hold memory of childhood trams the cat and mouse and fish and chips and the happiness of when I was a child, sad to see the Decline over the 10 years and great to see you tubers out and about there again and bringing people and kids back to live the beautiful town it will be again one day , I'll visit at Christmas when I'm over again !! hi random great to hear your eflections and thoughts on blackpool.i remember going to blackpool every year with my mum and dad we stopped up north and we alwaays visited the boating pool which is now the go kart track. i still return to blackpool every year there is nothing like the sea air to waken you up on your stroll first thing in the morning although blackpool has changed a lot blackpool holds special memories that will live with me forever thanks for the memories random keep well take care.

Great to see your getting your life back together random, I lost my son to suicide in 2015 after that my life went out of control I turned to drugs and alcohol and lost every thing my partner all my money hit rock bottom, but now I've been clean for 5 years and getting my life back , I was in Blackpool the June and met up with jamies rock and soul he gave me some sound life advice and now I've started my own channel to help with my mental health, stat strong random and keep up the great content

Hi steve, ive been going to blackpool for over 50yrs but im quite lucky as i have family that live there ,so it cuts the cost of staying in hotels or b+b , blackpool is a fantastic place i have so many fond memories and happy times there , i will be back there in a few weeks time if your there mate let me know and i meet with you have couple pints together , dont give up youtube mate you do a fantastic job ,,, best wishes too you good health cheers jeff.

For some reason I can’t find a place in my heart for Blackpool, my heart lies on the other side of the country, l feel the same about Scarborough, Whitby, robin hoods bay and the North Yorkshire moorlands. Memories both sad and happy, but I can understand how you feel. And the same fate has befallen my places too, compared to the 60’s and 70’s it’s looking tiered. I have enjoyed watching this thanks

Great video, same as you I was always really excited going to Blackpool with my mum and cousins back in the late 70's/early 80's. We would get the train down from Glasgow to Preston and then on the Blackpool. The sounds and sights of the arcades I remember most, great memories.
I bet that was some traveling coming all the way from Glasgow but happy memories
Totally agree Blackpool I class as my second home and I have always had a happy experience going there every year, instead of other vlogger's showing the negativity take your frustration out on the council who have left the outskirts in a terrible state,great vid Steve.

I remember my first time to Blackpool I stayed in Pontins campsite with my mumprincess Ann came to Pontins campsite and going to the tower sea life going on the tram to Fleetwood and Saint Ann's having fish and chips by the sea sints then I have fallen in love with Blackpool enjoy my self every time I go to Blackpool makeing memories and forgeting about your worries it's nice to gwt away on holiday go visit different places makeing memories and help with ones mental health

My uncle used to have the manhatten. Bit further down from the Doric (called something else now) Every Friday I would finish at dinner and get the train from Piccadilly. Used to help out behind the bar etc but it wasn't a job. I loved it with all the old folks. I had such a laugh every single weekend. In the Summer I would take 6 weeks non paid leave from work and stay there. Used to go on the exact walk ur doing, Tom's cabin sat on the rocks with a lucazade. The North side is far far better than the South. One year as I used to do every Saturday I put my coupon on at Ladbrokes near the Duke of wellington (closed now) I got 12 homes up. £15,400 for a £10 bet. So u can imagine I had a great week that week. 😊😊

I used to come to Blackpool in early 90's with my children, they loved the Tower ballroom and circus and windy walks along the piers. I'm bringing my grandchildren next week and we're all super excited, hot fresh donuts and seaside fun.

Blackpool my second home. The Doric is my second family. I have an awful disability fibromyalgia and when in blackpool specifically the Doric I feel free to be a child again :) I have many memories over the years, from. 15 of my whole family to just me and hubby going. Blackpool is a beautiful place my happy place it allows you to feel free from stress and hard times. So much to do :) I visit for 2 weeks in August my main holiday I save really hard all year to be able to spend 2 weeks worry stress free, and be able to reminisce on past holidays and enjoy the current one making new memories. Opposite the doric the rocks I often sit there hours taking in the beautiful sight and reflecting on life and how happy Iand lucky I am. I call the rocks my Shirley valentine spot 😅 I always say don't knock it till you tried it. Looking forward to my next journey to see my Blackpool family. Stay safe love and huggles xxx

Random,went to blackpool as a kid in the 70s.Was a boat trip from n ireland to Scotland,then a drive to Lancashire.Loved every minute of it,now as an adult I live an hour away😊

Same as me Random, I like going to bed fairly early & then having a nice early start in the morning. In the late 60's early 70's we used to go to the cabin, it was a boating pool and you could have a nice ride on a motor boat. We used to go crabbing in the pool and then throw them back in. I used to bring my daughter when she was very young and go upstairs at the Manchester pub where there is a family bar and then have a ride on the tram to Cleveley's where I took her on the rides at kiddie's corner (gone now). Great times and I will be back later this year. Take care Random; Harry.

Thanks for the excellent video. Blackpool holds memories for me, as many, our parents taking us there in the 1970's. Cheap B & B near North Pier. Playing in the boating pool. Fish and chips and ice creams. Paddling in the sea and waling the beach. And holding onto those memories, it is a shame that what we enjoyed then, has now been replaced with changes to those places we love. I live in the Philippines, there are beautiful scenic beaches. But it's not Blackpool, with fish and chips, ice cream and diving seagulls! People should make the most of the seaside towns of Britain.

I would just like to leave a positive message my friend. I have always thought when the muck hit the fan. Its not the end, its a new beginning. I ended up in a shared house after my divorce. Now i am remarried to a lovely woman, living in Norfolk, 15 minutes drive away to some lovely beaches. And only 40 minutes away from Great Yarmouth. Keep moving forward and never back peddle.✌️👍

For me Blackpool is special i came with my late husband and stayed at pontins September 98 we married april 99 i lost him to cancer in 2016 came back in August 2019 was so sad see pomtins gone

@Randomanddesperate when i came in 2019 it was to do a pilgrimage of when we came and because i had just won a battle with 2 lots cancer in 12 months i have on a cushion our photo taken at pontins i 1998
I think it's a 50/50 thing about Blackpool depending on what YOU like. There is some nice scenery along the beach if you wish to look for it and also there's always some life and bars etc if you choose to look for that but all of it has to be your thing. You have to make the best of things and that's what Blackpool is great for if you let it be that . You have to let yourself go a bit. Don't go to Blackpool if you are uptight
