I think it was a good descision you going full time on UA-cam. I enjoy your content. I’ll drive a lot ACC, but you got me hooked again with GT7. I’m really looking forward to how your channel will develop over time. Good luck with that and Dobro veče from Germany!
A good tip if you're new to the rain, or like me just awful at it, in the assist settings turn on the driving line-- and then avoid it like the plague. It really does help.
Thanks for the guide. 👍 BTW Yesterday's F1 GP in Canada was all about that. Was interesting to watch the impact of rain on professional drivers and their behavior.
One of the best openings in GT7 streaming: "driving in the rain 🌧 can be quite difficult" 🙀🤣🤣, oh the irony of the truth. more like, GT7 to me: "Rob, you stink, keep spinning " 😅. Thanks Digit, we'll done in wet this week 👍
you didnt mention it here but, in particular for longer tracks. its better to be on inters/wets early than late. you only lose 3-5% in laptime vs dry tyres in dry conditions, vs 50% when you're on drys in the wet... Just make you don't go switch far too early as youll shred the inters/wets as they wear out quickly in dry conditions - a lap or two of wear is fine, once its wet enough they don't wear out
That's always a guess because on one part of the track it could be raining while on the other completely dry. So for the first part of the lap you can destroy your inters/wets but on one part you need them to even make it through the turn. Either way, dynamic weather is always hard to judge.
I’m new to GT as a whole 81-90 hours whole in the course of over 2 months and am already in S class and C safety rating. Just looking to clean up and tidy up my racing and get faster.
@@Krukikro This one, plus Hizal that is a WT Champion and works for PD now confirmed the wet line in Digit chat ua-cam.com/video/mQPFU4uubqs/v-deo.html
@efenba is there a link to the vid? I'd love to see their insights. No one said a thing abt wet vs dry lines until iRacing updated their rain physics. Why are we behaving as though the same exists in GT7. it's shit in ACC too. GT7 has so much potential, but they will not reach it if the community is deluding itself.
Its an option, but you should use it only on corner exit, and revert back to full power mixture on the straights. If you keep on lower mixture the whole lap, you are def losing time. And this constant management is too much for most people.
Great video! Helped a lot🔥🔥🔥I had one question, you mention ABS for some tracks and some cars are better when set on weak. When to know which is best? Do you advise weak ABS for controller uses?
Default is better for 99% of guys out there, if you want to push to the limit weak is your option. But this also depends on the car and the track. usually, bumpy circuits and road car will be better of with default, in other cases use weak. In the end, there is really now way to know unless you test it out.
I don't wanna be arrogant but those wet races are my best races to me, and all with inter tyres always, never full wet, Spa was victory till the end, even with dry conditions and inter tyres destroyed (in red) driving Mazda RX. Fuji with Peugeot RCZ in both accounts I had podiums and 2 victories, one in 🇯🇵 account with slow rain, all drivers entered to change medium tyres for a new set of medium tyres...wrong, rain was strong at lap 15 so I changed from medium to inter tyres meanwhile the rest had to do a 2nd pit stop. And my victory in 🇨🇱 account was the usual pattern, rain appeared at the end of lap 7, at that moment I was following 1st place to the pit so he, me and other 2 drivers from the back entered to pit to change for inters, the rest had spins and crashes during lap 8 but 1st place driver changed to full wet a few laps later, I decided to stick with inters and I won, full wet tyres are not worthy.
I have to disagree as I was going inters no matter how much rain and always at the front when pitting but lost a few races to drivers who were better than me in the wet conditions. I then decided to go full wets on the next heavy rain race and pulled out a 6 second gap on guys with inters, span out lost the lead and chased down a 5 second gap and then stretched to another 6 second lead. Yes when the track dried out last 3 laps I was hunted down but the damage was already done and I won the race and without the spin would have been very comfortable.
Use a script bro, trust me. Incorrect filler words and phrases tend to force the listener to pause to process the fact that you used words incorrectly. A script would clean this up. You can't claim being a casual youtuber anymore. Make it professional and convert casual viewers to customers.

After crashing constantly in the rain and opening this “Driving in the rain can be quite difficult” really hit hard
Thanks for the guide. 👍

I am new to GT7 (6months) and I had no idea about the wet indicator. Thanks for that G.

Didn’t know you could get into A+/S DR with a C SR.. thought you needed a good safety rating to move up in class
Thank you
Has the dry line vs wet line been tested in GT7?
Yes, and it's confirmed.
@@efenba do you have a specific video in mind? Because, i have opinions and theories 🤓🤓

@afterthought6889 I just posted the link buddy, but if it doesn't show up for you for some reason, it's on Wombleleader Racing channel
Thanks for the tips. Much appreciated.
What about choosing a lower fuel mix to help applying the acceleration?

Not tested so I can't judge. But I haven't seen anyone do this in the top split.
Invaluable information as always Digit..thank you for sharing your skill and knowledge it helps us all improve ❤️👍

Ps4 controller user here, abs default is easier but feels boring. Abs weak is more fun for me.
Thank you 👍🏁
Digit Racing is the best racing
maybe for some help you can turn on the line assist in gt7 and then just avoid this line in full rain
