I thought you were zooming but you both looked as though you loved it. I-thought your dressage has improved a lot so that# really good he was just a bit tense. Really enjoyed your journey with him so look forward to the next time.😊

The season has passed so quickly!!! Am still catching up with your older videos. You look so much more relaxed about your horses.

Super well done Olivia and Chalky. I thought your showjumping round was the best yet. Your really building a great partnership and confidence and riding really forward in to fences and he's getting more confident at taking a long stride when it presents itself rather than chipping in like he did when you first got him. So pleased for you. What a great end to your first season together. 👏 xx

Looks like you had a blast together & you've both come a long way and you can clearly see the relationship you have built together so far 🤩 Dressage is definitely improving so don't get hung up on the actual score - go back and watch your first dressage to give you some perspective lol 😅 If you work on accuracy you will gain back some easy points your are throwing away like using your corners, changing at the correct marker etc though 🥰

I do always forget how far he's come on the flat, he tries his hardest for me it's so easy to get hung up on the score I know I shouldn't and I know we're far from perfect I don't expect amazing marks 🤣🤣 roll on winter of lessons and dressage outings xxx

Well done - did you get placed? You have both come on so well this season. Have a lovely holiday in America. xOx

You'll have lost marks on Unsteady contact, Resistance, On forehand, and being behind the leg, aswell as accuracy. Unfortunately some horses just don't enjoy the dressage phase, and we have to mark accordingly I'm afraid 🙃
You're still doing great for such a new partnership x

Oh wow that cross country round was epic!! You both looked so confident it's amazing how far you've come in such a short time. The only thing I noticed in your dressage test is your upper body tipping forward slightly which maybe unbalances him a bit but hey I gave up riding due to losing my nerve and I was pretty shit anyway so I'm probably completely wrong 💩🙈😂
Have really loved your vlogs hope you all have a great holiday ❤❤

Thank you so much. Loved every minute of it. No you are totally right it's such a bad habit of mine... well since having Harper I've noticed my core is no where near as strong as it was. Work in progress 🤣🤞🏼🥰 xxx

I would have to agree with all the comments, especially the very top one 👌 dont so much focus on scores right now. Obviously, i know they are needed, but just keep working on your dressage as much as possible.
I have to say It's very important you look at what you've actually improved on too! 👏 otherwise, you'll get yourself in a dark place with dressage completely and you'll get yourself stuck in a downwards spiral of negative thoughts around that one phase! Dont be overthinking it too much!
I'd go back to your very first few pony parties and watch the dressage phases back to see how much you have improved now! Id also be more enclined to focus more of your lessons on your dressage. It just makes more sense to work more on what you as a partnership dont excel in to get you the better marks especially if you are wanting to up your game and marks to move up levels (if that is your long term goal? If its not you will still need to improve it either way if that makes sense?) 😉 those marks are needed if you want to better your overall scores, whatever your long-term goals are. 😉
"Work on the things you dont tend to like as a partnership, and the phases you do like will only improve even more."
Good luck with it all! Will be interesting to watch what your next plans are to improve your dressage ❤

Ah I know our dressage is far from perfect. I think it's easy to focus on the score isn't it and especially when you feel it was a better test than usually but marks are the same. He tries and I can't ask more than that from him 🥰 we have a regular dressage lesson weekly and have more booked for over winter so coming into next season we should be stronger than ever 🤞🏼☺️ xxx
