I've always thought that if I had to give props to anything Gallardo, it would be the sound of the V10, which when revved and thrown about between 4-6k rpm always made such a glorious, intoxicating sound not many of the current day cars can even come close to emulate, not even it's own successor.

Nice video James! I have a green 570 with the ccb and absolutely love the car. Yes it’s is very stiff, certainly on the bad roads here in Malaysia I am shaken around like James Bond’s martini. However, driving a Lotus Exige for years got me used to it. Didn’t you have an exige as well? The rear wing as in your video is standard, as is the plexi engine bay cover. Mine also has some led lights to illuminate the bay (not my idea, but who cares). I’ve been thinking about removing the front drive part, it’s seemingly a 1hr job, though I hear it’s best to keep the front diff in place for car balance. Anyhow, glad you drove this car and made the video🙏🏽🙏🏽

Lamborghini Gallardo 550-2 for the US market and maybe others has 2 wheel drive & weight around the same as a Superleggera weight while being a "reg" production car. Also available in manual, it was also said to be a "normal" non-limited production Gallardo that was like a Ballboni without being one
I did this with my manual transmission gallardo. I made it 2wd, which is very easy to do. Also swapped the cats and added titanium exhaust. All in all dropped about 200lbs! The car feels completely different! It’s so much lighter and fun to drive. So it’s superleggera weight but with a manual transmission :)
