It's hard being old. She had always been and will always be a beautiful woman. It's just sad that she doesn't know when to stop with these plastic works. You can have wrinkles and be beautiful. When are older women going to figure this out.

It’s sad that women who choose to grow old gracefully always attack those who decide to take care of themselves and do things to maintain their beauty. They aren’t denying their age they just want to be their best at their age. She is gorgeous, more power to her. Don't mess with the eye's, they lose that roundness, which is a youthful, attractive quality. I see it all the time, the eye's look pinched. I'm 50 and haven't had anything done but wouldn't say no to fillers/botox but want to keep the natural shape of my eyes :) Although she's had a lot of cosmetic procedures, she still has great bone structure, which is what got her the modelling gigs in the first place.

I'm 56 and have had botox and fillers. I use sunscreen religiously and have since I was in my early twenties. But I'll still never look like a supermodel. Christie Brinkley has the bone structure and good genes to begin with and if she wants to have plastic surgery and not tell people that's her business. I've had no one come up to me and say "you look different, have you had anything done?" so it can be subtle and a good doctor won't overdo you if he is ethical. Someone like Christie who is known for her looks is always going to be scrutinized whether they have had plastic surgery or not. I'm just thankful that I've never been known for my looks so no one really cares. I just do what I do so I can feel good about myself and I see nothing wrong with it.

First of all, regardless of what she has done to keep her beauty, she was just blessed to be born beautiful and with an amazing body. Blonde, blue eyes, perfect features, teeth...all of it. I always said... God must have been in a really good mood the day he created Christie Brinkley. Some women are just blessed from birth and if they take care of themselves, it should continue, but to stave off actual aging, it takes a village of specialists and constant upkeep. She is in the public eye and has the money, so I can understand it if she has this or that done. Most of us are average looking and it wouldn't matter what cream you used or how many injections you get. If you don't have the basic physical beauty to begin with, nothing but complete plastic surgery is going to change what God gave you. Just be grateful if you are healthy and do the best with what you were given. Be a beautiful person inside and you will always be perceived as beautiful on the outside. She's a stunning woman, no doubt about it and she seems like a truly lovely woman inside. She's been truly blessed.
Jacqueline, I have know Christie since 1977 and everything you said is true... She is a wonderful lady, the two of us have different political views. That has been hard for me all these years.
Basically I feel it is a personal choice as to how a person wants to live their life. They say the body is a temple if one chooses to consume alcohol to excess smoke cigarettes and eat fattening food and not exercise . The end result is your appearance will reflect those choices.However if you decide to take the best possible care of yourself even if it means to have cosmetic work done. You still decided to make yourself be the best version of yourself. But the fact remains even if you do all these things you have to be fortunate enough to be attractive to begin with.
She looks absolutely amazing... I'm not sure if she's admitted it but lets be honest she has 100% had work done ... her cheeks are too puffy and her jaw line too tight to be natural at 63. Nature is cruel to us after 60 and before that for many, our faces start to show deeper lines etc however good on her regardless of work done she looks simply amazing!!

Agreed. I understand the pressure on women in some industries not to age. I also understand how hard it is to lose youthful beauty as I am her age. But I value the work of getting over that vanity and evolving. I have forgiven Helen Mirren for lifting her lower face because she has to see her face from all angles projected 3 stories tall. Ok, I probably couldn't withstand that kind of scrutiny either but she told the truth about it and never claimed it was down to something she was selling.
Don't assume she got surgery because she didn't- just injectables.
Botox, she admitted to it in a TV interview a while back, said she tried it but eventually stopped. She's Never had surgery. She does live a healthy vegetarian lifestyle with lots of exercise, water and rest.
Why do you have to say that she is fit for age? It is really hard for some people to give someone a real compliment. I think she is fit for any age.
Michelle, because it is a fact that it is so much harder to stay physically fit as we age. We need to consume less calories as we age (so thats hard!) menopause, if skinny or not will add fat to a woman's stomach/waist, making it look thicker. It is so much harder to look like you did in your 20's and 30's than when you are in your 60's. so yes I am very impressed! I'm sure she probably gets her waist/stomach lipo'd but still good for her. I can tell you are young. You dont know yet.
She looks awsome, but it's not just from collagen and elastin building supplements and creams. She has obviously had much more done. The body however I think she has put in quite a bit of effort. It can't be done just putting yourself under the knife. Wish she didn't talk that much, would have loved to get the response to Kelly's questions.

from what I've heard, Billy Joel is no saint & treats the women he dates really badly. Maybe Billy treated Christie horribly, & that's why she didn't have any qualms about dating his friend
Even if she hadn't done anything to her face she would have aged just beautifully.
When she does interviews you can really see the surgery and fillers. In pictures, however, she is airbrushed so you don't see it as much.

I've always found her young and not her age, in my mind, since she looks like she's 20 years younger, to me. People who have round faces have a more natural looking facelift, she's had at least 1 facelift already before. People with more narrow long faces will have a facelift that will not look as great. I hope I look this good in 24 years when I am Christie's age. She's still gorgeous!!!!!!
My mom ate anything she chose to eat. And she lived to 91. She was as beautiful the day she passed, as she was ever was. Do what you feel is right. Only you, yourself, can know what is best for, you.

So I have this horrible genetic disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which is a collagen disorder. Your body mutates its own strands of collagen and it causes a million symptoms, like your connective tissue not being strong enough to hold your bones in place. I wonder if Ultherapy would be effective in treating that. Or if it would just give your body more collagen to screw up.

I think Christie is beautiful, and I do admire her desciplined lifestyle of eating very healthy and exercising, but I wonder if every day is a battle to defy aging... sounds exhausting ! It’s obvious she’s had work done.
I can’t help but think of Barbara Bush , who I also admired , who aged gracefully with her wrinkles and white hair.
I guess the bottom line is ... we each choose how we deal with getting old.

I always wondered about Barbara Bush's prematurely gray hair then heard after her passing it turned gray when her toddler daughter had leukemia, who eventually died from the disease. I had known that part and how horrible to lose a child, watching her suffer only to lose her. No wonder her hair turned gray in that and she was still what we would consider today a young woman. However, it was said that as she soon became known as everyone's grandmother, she embraced the gray hair and that new image it brought her. I thought in that moment, how could anyone not love her? She was a stalwart, at the same time unflappable, presenting herself in her signature humor and quick wit. She embodied the best of what every woman hopes to be as a wife and mother to her family. It was evident she was her husband's and children's rock. She had the strength to allow them the freedom and support to achieve the greatness each accomplished.

With all of these folks who have undergone extensive cosmetic procedures , one can`t help but wonder what they would have looked like had they not gone under the knife or subjected themselves to these horrendous ``treatments``. She does not admit to her procedures, only the ones she recently endorsed (again...to make money), and those are not enough to have zero sag. She’s obviously had an eye lift, lower face/neck lift, veneers, inside lip lift (joker smile) and countless other things. Yet she says it’s her veg lifestyle (to sell her book), and her products or endorsements. inside her heart she is not pro-woman. Otherwise she would stop trying to fool us and take our money. I count Cindy Crawford in this category. proof of the procedures? Spend 10m looking at early-mid 1990s pics, candid ones. Pre-divorce. Normal aging starting for a woman in her early 50s who had a lot of sun damage: sagging starting in all the normal places.

Definitely has that joker mouth. I think when you start messing with the mouth area that's when you start looking really fake. It kills me that these Hollywood types deny they've had work done. That may have worked back in the day when only celebrities had access to these procedures and plastic surgeons, but now we all have access to it and we know what it looks like.
