Competitive freestyle skateboarding returned to the Netherlands with the first Dutch Freestyle Skateboard Open (DFSO), held at Superfun in Amersfoort. The first European contest of the year saw over 40 skaters traveling from all over the continent (and, in one case, the USA) to compete.
