Great review on the comparisons. The personal opinions on these lens actually give them more vivid experiences. Especially the unique photo look but relatively low hit rate by these vintage design lens, definitely share the same feeling.
Good and informative video. I have a Sony 28mm f2 which I was using with my A6000 (42mm equivalent), so I've been a fan of the 40mm look for some time now, but haven't been able to fully articulate as to why. I've recently purchased a Sony A7iii camera and the first lens I bought was the Sony 40mm 2.5 G. It is very easy to carry and I love the image quality. The build is solid and I appreciate having the aperture ring. Happy to find that my instincts were right to choose that lens. Beautiful sample shots as well! Thanks for making this video.
Great video! I thought the Batis f2 looked the best all around but loved the look of the f1.2 as well. So glad you addressed the 40mm, I think it's one of the best focal lengths and my second favorite after 28mm. I wish there were more 28mm lenses for you to cover and recommend.
@@AUXOUT Unfortunately I haven't found a reputable prime 28mm for the E mount system. I know Sony has an f2 28mm, as well as Viltrox with an f1.8, but both seems to get mixed reviews and I haven't seen a professional shooting on them so I'm not sure about the overall image quality. Of course, the best 28mm out there would be the Leica summilux or even summicron but that doesn't help us in the Sony systems so I generally have to make do with a zoom lens taken to 28mm. I find it's a focal length that gets over looked a lot but it seems a lot of people miss the balance it gives between a 24mm (which I find can get a little too busy) and 35mm, and also don't even bother to try use it for portraits which I think are amazing at this focal length as it requires you to get to a normal talking distance with someone if you want to take their portrait, thus making it great for impromptu "hey, can I take your picture?" moments.
I regret sold my batís 40, I may re buy it, I also have the Sony 40 but I need more shooting with it, I also love a lot the voigt lander 40 1.4 MC with techart9 ( V2). I made incredible images with that lens
40mm is my all time favorite focal length and the 40mm f2 Batis is my all time favorite lens I had ever used. 40mm is the best most versatile focal length always outshined by 50mm and 35mm.
Damn, I got the chapter title wrong...
Wow, time flies and you're still with A7III. Great work. Many thanks.
どの作例も素敵です!!✨40mm好きとしてはとてと興味深い動画でした📷
あざます!40mm楽しいですよねー!
Batis手放したけど、買い直そうかなって最近思いますー😅
Batisは近距離撮影の時、確か1段勝手に絞られるのでボケが角張るのではなかったでしょうか?

thank you. exactly what i am looking for. the 40/2 looks really unique in colors/rendering. the used market make it very attractive
Just go the batis 40mm for my A7Cii. Really good and got it used. Great value now.
とても参考になる動画でした!
作例のお写真、どれも素敵でAUXOUTさんのセンスの素晴らしさが滲み出てますね✨
オススメのレンズなんですが、
コシナさんの
HELIAR classic 50mm F1.5 です!
クラシカルな描写でボケもめっちゃ良いです。もし機会があれば試してみてください😊
めっちゃ良いですね!多分買います!w
The color of the first lens is the best in my eyes 👍
Sony lenses pack incredible performance into their compact size!

That's true! Brands should focus more on 40mm!
Really sick video, great information and visuals. However a little more variety with the music would be nice :D
And I really appreciate the Subtitles 🙏
Hope you enjoyed it!
