I listen to hours of different music every day. spend time on Spotify playlists and UA-cam searching for a genre of sample you want. if you want a style similar to what I used in the video than look for indie and ambient samples
it takes a lot of tweaking tbh. find the tempo of the original sample and set that to your bpm. if it still doesnt fit than youre gonna have to chop and stretch the sample until you get something that works. i suggest turning on the metronome when messing with you sample to make sure it fits your bpm. unfortunately its gonna be different for every sample so there isnt really just one method to get it perfect everytime
