My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless.
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.
Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.
Is there any chance you could recommend who you work with? I've wanted to make this switch for a very long time now, but I've been very hesitant about. I'll appreciate any recommendation.
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
The main focus for markets now is Nvidia, which has powered a large chunk of the S&P 500’s recent earnings. Nvidia’s stock, up more than 90% this year, rose 2.5% in New York on Monday, sending the Nasdaq 100 index to another record high. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850K
Viviana Marisa Coelho is her name. She is regarded as a genius in her area and works for Empower Financial Services. By looking her up online, you can quickly verify her level of experience. She is well knowledgeable about financial markets.
Apple stock (AAPL) surged up to 6% following its earnings report, which exceeded expectations. With Apple's strong financial performance and considering diversification, I'm contemplating adding tech stocks to my $400K portfolio.
@@Higuannn You're right, the market can be tough sometimes and requires professionals to navigate it. Sadly, A lot of persons downplay the role of market experts until they're burnt by their emotions.

Thanks Joseph, and great job on this! While Stanley Druckenmiller is in his own lane, I do like the fact he he does tip his hat to the Oracle of Omaha!
When Drunkenmiller did this interview the stock dropped that day. He does not seem to understand the company of Nvidia as well as he should. I’m a long time fanboy, I think it’s beautiful.
I say this as someone whose portfolio is 18% Amazon: why would they? The high in 2021 was $185, and in 2024 the high so far is… $187. I’m okay with holding it for now, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it, and didn’t add to my position during the recent dip under $100.
I’ll just add context to epbrown that the comparison of AMZN 2021 Covid high price , necessary recovery and CEO change to today’s price is misleading and not fair to the company. What they did through Covid was nothing short of miraculous, and Jassey has successfully cleaned up and streamlined (cash flow, margins) and now into the future new growth of AI, advertising, #1 retailer… the company is nothing short of amazing. Read last quarters earnings report, it is phenomenal. Jassey is great. It’s a long term no brainer in my opinion along with NVDA and GOOG. For reference im a Wall Street professional for 20 years and self made rich af ;)
This is great content format, we get different opinions from big known names, reflected through your opinions and often visualized in Qualtrim. Top notch👌
I think an interesting idea for Apple is to put their vision pro eye tracking in the iPad front camera so you can click and scroll without even touching the screen
Think Druckenmiller sold too early. We’ll see this wednesday of course, but the way Meta, MSFT, Google, Tesla have been talking about how grateful they were to get their hands on “some” NVDA chips, I think we should still see great numbers for a bit
You said you’ve picked the best of the best (investors), so I don’t understand why you missed David Tepper… do you have a bad opinion about him? why haven’t you reviewed him?
Hey, why do you seem to dislike GE aerospace - one of the widest moat in aircraft engines both civil and military - Chris Hohn for instance is super bullish on 🤞
Would you ever consider doing a video looking at renewable energy? I know it was a trend a couple years ago but Im looking now while interest rates are high causing a dip in price in this interest heavy sector with the eye for long term holding for future growth. I dont like any of the renewable ETFs out there and Im not looking toward the residential market but the large scale industrial market. Stocks Im specifically looking at are FSLR, GEV, BEP, NEP, CEG, CWEN, and HASI. Do you see any potential in any of them?
Great video as always! Are you planning to release anytime soon a video on good opportunities/undervalued companies to buy these days especially in the tech sector? Everything seems to be overpriced.
I invest 25% of my income in the stock market monthly and hold for at least 5 years. Recently, my portfolio has declined by $150K. What should I do? Sell?
Look for stocks with a history of steady, increasing dividends, even during recessions. Consulting a certified market strategist can provide helpful insights.
Agreed. It's always wise to be proactive and consider diversifying our investments to manage risks in uncertain economic times. I delegate my day-to-day investing to an advisor ever since suffering a major steep-down late 2019, amid rona-outbreak, and as of today, I'm semi-retired with barely 25% short of my $1m retirement goal after subsequent investments
I think the fact that MSFT/AMZN/GOOGL/TSLA are the ones investing huge in compute will solidify them as the winners "down the road" that druckenmiller is referring to. They are investing huge sums in being able to provide the AI compute that everyone agrees is inevitable. Crazy to think that especially for MSFT/GOOGL/AMZN these will be 10T+ companies in not too many more years, even TSLA could be multi-trillions
That was such a bad take on Google search Brad had.. I agree with you.. Google has so more data on people than any other company. Maps, Mail, UA-cam, Android, Chrome.. I guess this type of thinking just made those of us who bought Google on the dip better off.
My biggest problem with assuming Google wouldn’t hold their lead is that he couldn’t/didn’t name who would take it. I’ve heard people say for decades that Microsoft will be toppled, they’re stagnant, whatever - no one’s ever been able to name what will replace Windows and Office.
I normally don't "trade" positions, but I've done it on 3 occassions in the last 4 years: Amazon, Tesla, Nvidia. I love all these companies, but their stock price got ahead of their fundamental earning power on a few occasions. Sometimes, people will hold all or even buy more once it's gone up like that, but I took a "sell most" approach. Hitting the top doesn't matter, but rather limiting downside potential once the upside isn't very visible anymore
Comments about FICO and NVDA, seems to be completely different based on similar information. In fact, NVIDIA’s forward PE is significantly lower than FICO. Why so?
, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing...perhaps it is knowing what to sell at the right time just like the super investors . I’ve actually been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity maybe after sell?.
The IWM trade could be really interesting. The Russell is at its lowest in relation to the SP500 in 15 years. He's also betting on a soft landing and no recession.
Do you think it's a good time to consider selling some stocks, or is it better to hold onto them for the long term? I’m considering rebalancing my $2M portfolios, So I'm curious about the best strategies to invest this year.
I guess it's important to reassess your investment strategies based on current market conditions. You should also consider a market expert to guide you.
Having the correct plan in place is crucial; my portfolio is well-suited to each season of the market and recently experienced a 100% increase from early last year. My CFP and I are working on a 7-figure target, albeit this could take until Q3 2024.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financial future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?.
From $7K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.

FICO is a true government granted monopoly. FHA mandates use of FICO 5, 4 and 2 as the mortgage scoring service for FHA guaranteed mortgages. If you’re already using 5, 4 and 2 for underwriting government guaranteed mortgages, why use something else for other mortgages?
If you call NVDA datacenter growth. You likely would call tomatoes a fruit. Its accurate but somewhat misleading. Its not just a data center company. Its a comuting architecture. that is amazaing good for AI. They dont even make those rack servers. It makes IP and an archicture.

I don't think he mad a mistake buying Berkshire in the 4th quarter of 2023. He could have possibly made 23% in 6 months - I do not see anything wrong with that and less downside risk.
lol. $VST is a utility company. The reason why its doing so well is because most of your favorite company's AI plays has data centers that need to consume ALOT of power and energy in order to sustain those data centers being built. Infrastructure is a major deal, Joseph.
Last week there was an after market jump on FICO of 60%, it was priced at a little over $2300. I had a small position so I was both excited for the gains as well as had fomo for not buying more. When the market opened the next day it was back to its price before after market. But since then the price has been climbing. I think the stock is over valued, but I have a feeling it will keep climbing regardless. Not sure what caused that aftermarket surge.
@@bombmanNL Well obviously. It corrected when the market opened. Regardless it was exciting until the market opened. Stock is up 8% since then and 28% ytd. I’m waiting for a dip, only to see it constantly going up. We shall see.
Bp and Citigroup have been slow to turn things around, but I think Burry has the best portfolio, only because of relative valuation. I've been wrong for some time on these companies however. Time will tell.
I heard that Drunkenmiller lost a TON of $ for people in his family investment business (billions), in something like PA? Isn't that pretty relevant whenever mentioning him as someone to follow?
There's zero doubt Nvidia cannot and will not continue growing at the rate they have been due to the semi industry being cyclical. However, that being said, I'm sure the plan is going to be to shift into subscription revenue for CUDA use licenses.
They view it as a capex heavy business in a crowded space. Incorrectly assuming they don’t have operating leverage. And the valuation is a lot higher. Ackman at one point did own Netflix.

Haha that’s just an exchange error, if you think otherwise; that is stupid bro
@@bombmanNL Well obviously. It corrected when the market opened. Regardless it was exciting until the market opened. Stock is up 8% since then and 28% ytd. I’m waiting for a dip, only to see it constantly going up. We shall see.
Sofi is the next Texas roadhouse/chipotle. Secular trends + TAM + brand.
I can only hope so my friend.
Bp and Citigroup have been slow to turn things around, but I think Burry has the best portfolio, only because of relative valuation. I've been wrong for some time on these companies however. Time will tell.
The correct pronunciation for Coupang is 'cou pang' rhyme with 'bang' but replace it with 'p'
I made 100% last 12 months, they should hire me.
Revux is dominating my crypto chats - seems like the next big thing!
Nice work. You are interesting and have an effective way of communicating. I also liked how you got as many charts in as possible.
21:28 cool! That’s the kinda people we like, staying in the shadows outperforming the market 🎉
Of this and last week’s investors, only ONE (Gerstner) has a stake in Tesla.
How can an individual invest with a super investor?
Be a high net worth individual and have an invitation by an insider.
Depends on the fund and where you are. In the UK you can buy into Terry Smith’s fund easily. Of course they all also have minimum capital requirements
Is Stanley druckenmillers fund publicly traded?
Nope - family office so basically just running his own money I believe. Wish it were public though...
"at the rate they have been?" are you referring to forever, years, or months? Correct, probably not, perhaps.
@@michaelkim5350 I'm referring to the past year. Growing 100-200% YoY is not sustainable for long.
except for the first 2... I really doubt your pick.... just bunch of fee collectors
ULTA keeps selling off
Why don’t you think more super investors hold Netflix?
They view it as a capex heavy business in a crowded space. Incorrectly assuming they don’t have operating leverage. And the valuation is a lot higher. Ackman at one point did own Netflix.
Crypto was the same, it was over hyped at first then it was under hyped.
Why do you think charter communicationa is on a dying business model? People still need to be connected to the internet

Gerstner just wanted Google at a cheaper price
