It’s been eight months since I took the test. I just want to say, thank you so much. I actually passed because of you, and if I didn’t find this video, I’d be screwed.
Thank you for all your videos. My daughter is in special classes and studied for her Civic Test with your videos. She passed her civic test with 80% and had the highest grade in her class. Your videos are outstanding with a lot of knowledge.
I have the test in six hours, and I have not learned anything this whole year. I've been sitting back watching anime. But i'm so glad I found this, I can learn and laugh at the same time. Dude, you saved my butt! Thank you so much!
In 2022 I started to take civics class I didn’t know what it is because I just moved to America and the Caribbean and now it’s 2023 and I’ve tried to pass by EOC and I learned a lot. I love you so much I hope I pass. Wish me luck.
i watched all of these about the week before my eoc and i had it today. these helped me so much and i got a frickin perfect score! im so proud and thanks to you!!!!
I have my eoc next week and I’m super stressed out though I was screwed even though I’m studying a 198 flash cards thanks to your fun commentary and me watching these videos every day until test day I won’t screw my self over after all the times I’ve fallen asleep in class thanks dude you’re a life saver I’ll come back to give my results
yooo I'd just like to thank you! You helped me revisit certain units I forgot I even learned. I tend to forget what I learned easily. I have my eoc on Thursday and watching your videos will be a huge help!! I give you my thanks :)
I have a few students in your situation this year. It's really unfair to test you guys after one or two months of Civics. Hope you got all caught up. Good luck tomorrow!
I've been having the worst Junior year, and have been behind in all my classes for months, my EOC is in several hours and this video series was incredibly helpful. Thank you so much.
this video is SO great. I'm glad I found it. I have the eoc in a few days and im really worried. I have this on loop just listening to it. I do think it helps. just, thank you thank you thank you!!!
thank you so so much for this video I barely paid attention bc my teacher was so boreing and watching this made it fun and I passed and did better than I thought bc of this video so tysm bc if it wasn’t for this I would have to do civics again next year
these vids are so entertaining and help me learn! could you make a video on the different types of powers that the federal government has but not the states? also some review on concurrent, reserved, expressed/ implied powers? it would help a lot! 😎
That's a great idea and something my students need more practice with as well. I have a few things cooking right now, but I'll definitely get to this video in the future. I'll be sure to give a shout out!
I'm using these review videos (all 3) for my students who take the BSA this week. Love the content as always, and the injected humor is spot on. Though my students tell me I laugh too much (at times) at your sarcasm. lol. Oh well...funny is funny :-)
Thank you for your videos. I passed my EOC exam because of your videos. Now, I am in college and I have a history class. Do you have any videos about Reconstruction? It is chapter 15 of Give Me Liberty. Thank you.

I completely enjoyed this video. Though what about the information the founding fathers learned from the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Confederacy). That's who taught them to live as independent "states" with its own government, and then unite on matters that affected all of them. The founders met with their chief, Canasatego. The Indigenous nations had a lot of influence on the founders, but the most documented (in the Library of Congress) is what they learned from the Haudenosaunee. This is where American Federalism came from. There are many resources on this, but here's the information from the Library of Congress if you'd like to look into it. H.Con.Res.331 - A concurrent resolution to acknowledge the contribution of the Iroquois Confederacy of Nations to the development of the United States Constitution and to reaffirm the continuing government-to-government relationship between Indian tribes and the United States established in the Constitution.100th Congress (1987-1988)
Love this! Unfortunately, I only include information from the state curriculum. I would love to teach more about this and other influences but the curriculum is pretty basic at the middle school level. Thanks for sharing!
