I love your vlogs annam! Please don’t make them private cause of some negative people! Just block them instead keeping videos private. Cause for your new channel we have to pay for it and i don’t want to!! Please.. I have been watching your vlogs since day1. 😘
It’s only a little extra you have to pay if you wish to, honestly it’s not that much plus it helps her create more contents for her audience, you will get value for money.
@@taherajenz you do have to realise in this day and age people are struggling with money, there are students, as well as a younger demographic, who watch this channel, not everyone has a job, so we need to appreciate that not everyone can afford to pay £5.99 a month.
it's just an excuse to cash in on her viewer's. So what if these so called " trolls" have access to her" private" videos?. Every youtuber knows the challenges of posting their lives online. Besides she's not a everyday vlogger to get bothered by one or two trolls on the channel.
With the cost of living going up and some people's salaries are not reflected by this, perhaps you should kindly consider not putting videos up privately. I'm sure most of your audience are young females, they may not have the means to pay for your channel on a monthly basis - as it all adds up.
In islam u keep your dads name. I wouldn't want it any other way. Even if u adopt a child u can't give your name to the child. This is how much high status Allah swt has given the parents.
Please please carry on posting your vlogs on this channel! I was really looking forward to the registry one. It doesn’t seem fair for your loving, loyal supporters to be missing out based on a select few haters. So many of us, especially students, can’t afford the membership fees x
totally agree... everyone is being told to reduce the expenditure. why doesnt she add blocked words so that those comments dont appear on the videos instead
It’s only a little extra you have to pay honestly it’s not that much. She works hard on her contents so we should support her and many people do the same thing with the membership but it’s only the desis that moan about paying a little bit our people are so tight with money but you don’t have that issues with goras.
@@taherajenz I don’t think it’s about ‘desis’ or ‘goras’ the point is some people also work very hard for a living and are also loyal subscribers but the choice of paying a fiver for petrol to get you to work or feed the kids for a day outweighs paying a fiver for UA-cam! It’s easier to block the haters isn’t it.
Islam was the religion that gave women their independence and their right to an identity. I do not care if I’m madly in love with my husband, I belong to my parents so will keep my family’s surname, not take my husbands. That’s MY choice and if he doesn’t like it, it’s HIS problem.
@@rainbow-ko2tc my surname on documents is just two female names for example “ Fatima Zahra, Amina Kauser, nabila begum etc” n i never liked why my parents didn’t add fathers name when i got married i had chance to change surname but I’m just not comfortable adopting hubby’s surname coz i have my own identity why practice this patriarchal thing🤷♀️…i grew up in italy n i guess this is just a British thing as Italians also don’t change surname after marriage
Loved the video! 2 of my cousins got married and haven't taken their husbands name mainly because our grandad passed away and they wanted to keep his name. Think its personal choice and validated you shouldn't have to change your surname even if people think its the norm. 💚
I have been silently following you since 2015. I just want to say I’m so proud of how far you have come along MashaAllah ♥️ Also still waiting for the registry Vlog thing to show up!
Hi Annam & Omar, What a beautiful vlog as always and I don’t know if it’s only just me thinking this and I have said it before but I must say unlike other vloggers I find that you are very generous with the duration of your vlogs because they are not your typical 10 minutes vlogs, instead they are minimum of 20+ minutes which is great and it also shows the efforts you put in for your audience to enjoy, so a BIG THANK YOU for that Annam. The changing of the surname for a women is a western tradition, it has absolutely no connection to Islam but unfortunately there are Muslims desis or non-desis that think it’s related to the religion but it’s not, so good on you Annam for sticking with what suits you best. Of course I also want to say for those who have changed their surnames to that of their husbands name, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that either, it’s completely upto the individual, each to their own as they say. Regarding the language having a child learn more that 2 languages outside of speaking English can be very challenging but also on the other hand being bilingual can also be beneficial and looks good on the CV it’s an extra skill to have if you don’t mind learning the language. Lastly Annam ignore the haters, they will always hate maybe because they have a sad life themselves and don’t like watching you happy and married living out your dreams. In a way it’s also a compliment to your success because you have haters, if you weren’t successful you wouldn’t have any haters because you wouldn’t have got the same attention so try your best to block them losers out, I know it’s easy said then done but I know you can do it, you’re a strong girl Alhamdulilah.
12.28 I got 2 children, 15 and 12. The key here is to speak in your mother tongues ONLY ALL the time when they are young. They will pick up your languages at least orally.....
My parents saw the mistake that was made with my cousins, they spoke english with them at home and they got taught it in school as well so they didn't pick up much urdu/punjabi. With me they just spoke as they normally do urdu/punjabi as they knew i would learn english in school anyway, now I fully understand conversations and can communicate with people too.
Annam just block your haters….in an age of austerity people are finding it difficult to put food on the table and so will find paying 5.99 for a video really difficult. This may have been there one way of distressing which now has a price on it too. Please rethink your decision 😊 P.s beautiful registry dress true princess vibes !
Not only that it’s my family surname and where I come from I just feel like it’s a western culture and it’s not Evan Islamic or sunnah so allow it but if people want to change their surname it’s their personal choice ✨✨✨
You shouldn't have to explain yourself. In Islam a woman has her own identity. She does not belong to anyone except Allah hence why she is entitled to keep her own wealth, make her own demands before marriage and not take her husbands surname.

Hey Annam! It’s not this video related but hoping to catch your attention here. I was going to make your mum’s chicken and rice recipe that you have saved a live for from last year. But the video is not working. Hoping that can be fixed so we have access to the recipe. Thanks much!
Hey! It’s stuck on my phone as well for some reason and I can’t get it to work - so sorry! I’ve written up the recipe for you below 💛 Ingredients: 1 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp chilli flakes 1.5 tsp salt 500g boneless chicken 500g Yoghurt 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 black cardamom 1 cinnamon stick A few cloves A few black pepper kernels 1 bay leaf 1 mace 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 tbsp oil Method: In a large bowl mix the chicken with the salt, red chilli powder, chilli flakes and yoghurt thoroughly - there should be no lumps! Dry fry all the spices for a minute in a large pot (be careful not to burn, stir continuously) Add the oil to the pot along with the chicken mix, stir on med-high until the chicken turn white and water has evaporated (takes about 15-20 mins), stir continuously. Cover and leave on small heat for another 8 mins. Done! Serve with boiled rice 😊
It’s funny that western countries r against patriarchy but adopting husbands last name is still practiced n if don’t do u get criticised, in desi/muslim culture it isn’t a thing but a loooot of women adopt husband’s last name coz it British custom.

I don’t understand why particularly in the South Asian communities girls don’t even adopt their father’s surname. If they did then it would feel like a sense of belonging to a certain group or family. But just giving the girls a generic surname like “Bano” or “Bibi” just doesn’t make any sense. In western cultures you can tell who is the brother or sister because the girl would share her brother’s surname. It’s a sense of belonging.
