This is a small radio, good for installing in vehicles with less space in the cab such as newer cars and smaller pickups.
The power cable for this CB radio is permanently attached to the back of the radio. You will need to route the cable from the mounting location to the power source.
Please note that this radio does not have a built-in SWR meter. You will need an external SWR meter (like the AUSWR) www.wearecb.co... in order to tune your antenna system for optimal performance.
See our Help Center's article How to Tune a CB Antenna for additional information.

I just ordered one! Thank you for the help!
this wasn't a review at all. It just listed the features.
Homeboy, isn't that what a review is?
Good little radio, get a decent antenna. It makes a difference. K30 or little bill
Will it work without an antenna?
@@kidynamitjr1326 in short, no
Do you need an antenna for it to work
Yes, any device that broadcasts needs an antenna.
I sell food next to a truck stop this will help me let drivers know am there selling food
The FCC prohibits advertising over CB. We would not recommend this form of advertising.
@@wearecb I don’t think the FCC cares , I always hear people advertising something over the air lol 😂
If it only could scan the 40 channels.
The rf output meter is a rough swr meter, if any of 4 bar segments are not lit, it has an over 3:1 swr, and then there is a trick to see if the antenna is too long, or too short.
Why not tell us about the loudspeaker? It's made to reproduce audio, after all.
I take it there's no DXing with this bad boy. lol I have one of these with a 300W max K30 magnet mount antenna. I have a high power mic on the way, but somehow I think that I won't be able to DX without an SSB option.
so I've got 4 holes in each side. the threads on the plastic knobs don't seem to match the threads in the radio. do I use the other screws to mount to bracket?
Thank you for your question! The hole furthest to the back of the radio on each side are the holes you will use to attach the bracket using the plastic knobs. The other holes are for if you want to mount the mic/mic clip on the side of the radio. We hope that helps!
Can this radio connect to a boafeng bf888s

how can u install it in a house
just install it in your car and drive into your home. for best reception, i recommend parking it on the roof.
@James Babcock Just a side note-Jumppacks commonly have a cigarette lighter type power port, and will power a legal cb for a long time, several hours, just do not use radio while it is charging...the charging circuit make tons of rf noise in the reciever of the radio, do not forget an antenna.
would this be good for a starter in my bedroom (already have antenna)
